STAY ALIVE, DON’T DIE

#Purpose 2 Samuel 9: 1-13

Purpose and assignment; purpose is the reason why you’re here but assignment is what will change your life. Our study from the book of 2 Samuel chapter 9 where we see David after a long battle asked if there was anyone from Saul’s house who was still alive such that he could show that person kindness. Wherever you are, no matter your situation, you could be crippled but stay alive and don’t die. This is not time for you to give up. Someone is about to call you just like Jonathan’s son (Mephibosheth) was called from Lo Debar to sit with royalty. You’re about to go to a place where you have never been before and God has already placed you in a position where authority will know you. I declare, you have a seat on a table of royalty and decision making, and that’s what we call the purpose.

There was a purpose in Saul’s family where his son Jonathan was meant to be the next king of Israel and that purpose was destroyed by Saul because of the mistakes he made but we see his grandson, Mephibosheth sitting with royalty [2 Samuel 9:7]. It doesn’t matter how low you are, you could have even lost your dignity but I am here to encourage you that you are about to come out stronger; the king is about to call you and restoration is coming to you. First of all, do you know who you’re? You are from the royal blood lineage and Jesus is right now talking to the Father about you. He called you his brother. Beloved, once you’re royal, you will always be royal. It doesn’t matter, you could have been damaged but there’s a seat for you at the king’s table and you’re gonna dine with a man after God’s own heart. This is where we learn purpose; the purpose is that your life gets restored. Child of God, people are gonna know who you’re, where you come from and the heart of the king because the king doesn’t forget. I prophesy, someone is about to remember you!

You must know the purpose of your life. You must stay alive and not die. Don’t roam around and risk contracting COVID-19 and to you who has it, God is gonna heal you. This story of Mephibosheth reveals how God thinks of us; no one is gonna sit in your seat. David said bring me his seat here at the table. After this pandemic, the king is gonna pull you back, and God is also gonna pull you out of lack. Mephibosheth said, “What [is] your servant, that you should look upon such a dead dog as I?” [2 Samuel 9:8] Beloved, stop calling yourself finished. Don’t ever call yourself a dog. Some of you, your personal dreams have been destroyed and the enemy is rejoicing but don’t say you are finished. Ziba had pretended that he was taking care of Mephibosheth yet he wasn’t because of the confession Mephibosheth made before David that “I’m as dead as a dog.” I declare, those who have been pretending to take care of you are about to become your servants because this is now the flip of the coin [2 Samuel 9:10-11].

This is the message that is now coming to the whole of Africa, “Stay alive and don’t die”. Africa, you are not a dead dog, you’re a child of God. Pastor, preacher don’t get Covid-19, stay alive. You’re Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan and a grandson of the King, your grandfather never fought to become king. He was a choice of God. He was just looking for his father’s donkeys when the prophet found him and anointed him to be the king. Lady, you could have left that man after salvation and now he’s sleeping with every woman on the village, chances are that he has AIDS but don’t call him for food now, hold on because help is on the way and restoration is coming to you. There’s a God who supplies, He will cause the ravens that fed Elijah to come and feed you. He will send you to a widow to feed you. Allow the Holy Ghost to work in your home. The devil wants to bring fear in you but trust in the Lord. Defeat Lucifer now because the presence of God is surrounding you. You’re coming out of that situation, and whatever you’re going through right now is just temporary; knowledge and money are about to come to you. You’re a king’s son and daughter. The Lord is about to restore and increase you. I declare, people are gonna work for you, and I prophesy, they will come and work in your field; you’re gonna come up with witty innovations. 

We always name our children names of great people but Mephibosheth was so crippled that he named his son a name of his servant [2 Samuel 9:12]. I have good news for you today that people are gonna know you and they will never forget you. I decree and declare that the Lord is about to restore you. You have an assignment and a purpose, and you are coming out of Lo Debar.

Declare: Lord, “I’m coming out of Lo Debar, the lowest life. You’re building and increasing me; I surrender and come to you; I am gonna feast at Your table and in Your presence, my life is changing.”

The Seven Spirits Of God||STRENGTH

The Lamb of God was slain before the foundations of the earth and was sacrificed in the place of Isaac according to Genesis 22:12-13. This is the very lamb that released the seven spirits of God on earth after he had been slain and rose from the dead according to Revelation 5:6 &12. Though we are in this world, we are not of this world, because God orders the earth and not the world.

He said, “Whatever we bind on earth is bound in heaven” [Matthew 18:18], because the earth obeys Him. Beloved, the world may not want Your God but the earth obeys Him, and that is why you need the oil; you need a vision because without vision people perish [Proverbs 29:18], and you also need the seven spirits of God; power, riches, wisdom, strength, honour, glory and blessing.

Do you know why Africa is the way it is today? We stopped living by the seven spirits of God and resorted to worshiping idols. Africans were linguists and that’s how the Pharaohs were able to talk to Abraham and Joseph; Africa grew food that fed the entire world; they had troops; they knew how to read and write; they knew how to design but one wonders what happened to Africa?

We are coming back to the God of Abraham, and to the seven spirits which Revelation 5 talks about. Once we wake up and take hold of these seven spirits, we will be able to innovate, create and develop our own stuff because no one [be it America, Europe or China] has a monopoly over them, and it’s an act of faith to have them.

The bible talks about a man called Eliezer who was sent by Abraham to go and look for his son (Isaac) a wife to marry; Abraham was an Epitome of blessings. What people call being favored and loved, I declare that it will be part of you. Eliezer got what he had and gave it to Rebekah yet he wasn’t the one going to marry her. I declare, people are about to bless you because they are on an assignment towards you, and things will happen not because of bad intentions but because of God’s assignment [Genesis 24:22]. Once you are connected to greatness, you also become great. Eliezer, a servant of Abraham was richer than the entire family of Laban.

Eliezer prayed by the well for the God of Abraham to give him good speed, and the bible says, before he had done praying, behold Rebekah came out [Genesis 24:15]. Young men, your wives are not in bars but at the well of the Holy Spirit.

I decree and declare: there is no more delay; the days of delays are over. I prophesy: you’re gonna get a deal and get out of that place; there is no more procrastination. Eliezer was on a mission for his master and he decided not to rest until his errand was settled, and he said, ‘I am finishing the deal and then go back’. The days of delaying in the capital city are over. Africa, we are too procrastinating and slow; we delay processing passports, constructing roads, banks delay to release money, courts delay to process cases, and this spirit gives room for people to compromise everything.

When you are dealing with the God of the seven spirits, there is always good speed to everything. For example, Jesus was arrested at midnight, crucified at midday, at 3pm the curtain of the temple was torn, three days he rose from the grave and in forty days he had gone back to the Father. The bible says, and Eliezer prayed for good speed.

Your prayer doesn’t have to be so long; when Daniel’s prayer was delayed for 21 days, it wasn’t the angel of good news that came but Michael the arch angel is the one who came and took over that principality of Persia. This demon that delays our breakthroughs, we come against it. There are traditional demons that have been hindering your progress and delaying your marriage, today we come against it.

The seven spirits of God – Wisdom

Saints, we are talking about the seven spirits of God in Revelation 5. However, in the midst of what is happening today, many people have turned out to be prophets giving all sorts of prophecies that this is the end and that people should change their behaviors. So, it seems like behavior change is the answer to what is going on. Behavioral change will give you reputation and the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is about behavioral change. The bible says, “He who observes the wind will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap” [Ecclesiastes 11:4].

Therefore, the first thing in behavioral change is, do not shake hands because you can shake hands with someone who has corona virus. Another behavioral change we must learn is SAVING. I remember during the 77 Days of Glory services, God told us to SAVE and He gave us a formula; 10% is the tithe, then save either 60% (if you’re single) or 30% (if you have a family) and use the rest.

Jesus came to SAVE that which was lost [Luke 19:10]. Let me say that you’re earning 100,000/= then you pay off your tithe of 10,000/=. Now you balance is 90,000/=, you save 30,000/= each month and at the end of the year, you will have saved 360,000/= it’s not too much but if you could save it for 10 years, you will have a lot of money.

Beloved, God will always give you an opportunity to create wealth, and that’s why He has given us His seven spirits; power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and blessing, and today, I want us to concentrate on WISDOM. Wisdom constitutes knowledge and understanding, and helps in capacity building.

Why do you think the President of Uganda is asking for cars? He would have asked for medicine or local herbs but he chose that course of action because he is build capacity. This is what I am also asking myself; the Holy Spirit has been with us for nearly four years since we began this revival, what capacity do we have? Have we built the capacity? If God directs you on how to manage your income, it is because He wants you to building capacity.

Jesus met Simon Peter and told him, from today you will be a fisher of men [Matthew 4:19], and thereafter, He told him again to take care of His sheep [John 21:15-17]. We are the sheep of His pasture, and He’s our shepherd, and we are also the temple of the Holy Spirit. Child of God, once you are at a fish level, you are a mean Christian; your capacity can only feed one person.

The fish that swallowed Jonah had no capacity to swallow another man, and yet if you are at the sheep level, you have the capacity to feed and save a family, that’s why Joshua said, as for me and my house we shall serve the Lord [Joshua 24:15]; at this level, your wool is good and it can cover others but you also attract foxes. Those at the temple level must die to self-that’s why Apostle Paul tells us to die to the things of this world [Romans 8:13]. In the temple that’s where the different spiritual gifts operate from.

Do you have the capacity? Just a little lock down you see the greed of people, their capacity is as little as fish. People with no capacity cannot have vision nor can they save a nation. That is why we need people with capacity who are no longer swimming like a fish or crying like a sheep. Glory be to God that in season and out of season, we are preaching the gospel because we built the capacity. We are now coming into the temple and we are gonna help people. I don’t want people with corona virus in my area but I need those who are social distancing themselves and washing their hands because they are the temple. The bible says, “if anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person,” and you are the temple of the Holy Ghost [1 Corinthians 3:17 NIV].

As I conclude: wisdom is the ability to create capacity, and I advise you people to invite Jesus Christ into your lives because he is the giver of capacity and wisdom. Corona virus has attacked us at every corner; weddings are being attended by only 10 people, and funerals as well, even when you die from another country your body cannot be brought back to your country or relatives. Tough times will always come but only tough people with the capacity will go through them.

This is the time for us to pray more, to repent and to treat people with respect; don’t treat people as they have treated you, treat them well. Jesus will say, when I was in prison, you never came to see me; He will ask you about the little children that were dying of hunger during the COVID-19 lock down. I know we can turn this situation around, but let us build the capacity.
