Get Ready to Fight-2

#Tuesday Night, Aug-18-20

We are still studying about the fifth strategy which is to “Get Ready to Fight.” And in the other previous texts, we talked about the first four joints in building your study, that is, setting your mind on things above, building your life in layers, learning from experiences, creating room for learning. One of the weapons you will be using in your fight is the tithe because with it, God rebukes the devourer [Malachi 3:10-11]. Another weapon is your offering. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom [Luke 6:38].

In order for you to stay alive, you must fight. Whenever you hear phrases like; “whatsoever you desire” and “let there be”, it mean that there’s war, and you must fight. The bible tells us to resist the devil and he will flee from us [James 4:7]. The cross is a place of war. Jesus dying at the place of the skull, it was war. If there was war in heaven, then you must fight. The enemy we are dealing with here on earth, waged war in heaven trying to bring confusion but he never prevailed. Satan wanted to take over heaven [Revelation 12:7-9]. Satan has a strategy and he strikes at the epitome but can’t hold it long. That’s why whatever is done here on earth is also done in heaven [Matt 18:18]. The things of the earth reveal to us the things of heaven. Jesus had to die here on earth and not in heaven. He told Mary not to touch Him until He ascends to heaven. The mystery of Christ’s death was to take the earthly body to heaven and show the victory. He had to take the wounds and show them to the Father. And when He ascended to heaven, His blood was sprinkled in the holy of hollies. The resurrected Jesus had to walk in heaven while His blood was still dripping [John 20:17]. Michael threw the devil out of heaven but he never removed the sin of rebellion. It was the blood of Jesus that removed that sin of rebellion from heaven.

The Christian life is a life of war. The devil wanted to kill David, and if he had succeeded, we wouldn’t have gotten Jesus because He is the root of David. He was whipped 39 lashes and His blood was dripping; while carrying the cross, the blood was dripping; at calvary still His blood was dripping; He went to hell and His blood was dripping. Even in hell, the demons knew the power in the blood of Jesus. I speak the blood of Jesus over your family. When Jesus ascended to heaven, John the revelator saw the poster of Him at calvary with blood dripping [Revelation 5:1-12].

Jesus appeared in heaven with seven horns and seven eyes which the devil had stolen from heaven and earth. Your salvation caused the devil to lose one of the horns, and the only horn he was left with is death, because he came to steal, kill and destroy [John 10:10]. Jesus is coming to take away death, and that’s why He said in 1 Corinthians 15:55, O death, where [is] thy sting? O grave, where [is] thy victory?

Revelation 12:11 says, And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. For death is swallowed up in victory [1 Corinth 15:54]. The victory of Jesus had to be validated in heaven. Matthew 16:19 states, And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. The actions on earth are rewards in heaven.

When Jesus died and rose again, He took the blood to heaven. He took his wounds to the Father, because he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he was brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers was dumb, so he openeth not his mouth [Isaiah 53:1-12]. When God saw Jesus disfigured, “He turned His eyes from him.” God didn’t see the weeping post. But in heaven, He was able to look at Jesus, and He declared that He’s worthy [Revelation 5:9]. The blood is what gave us a new name and caused us to be born-again. Everyone who comes against you, speak the blood. The blood of Jesus speaks better things than that of Abel [Hebrews 12:24]. The blood of Jesus is not dead, it is alive. Even in the grave, it was still flowing. He told Thomas to come and touch His wounds because the blood was still there [John 20:24-28].

As I conclude: Whenever Satan wants to attack you, plead the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus carries life, joy, power and miracles, and it is still flowing. Use the weapon of the blood of Jesus. Not everything is weaponry but the blood, the tithe, the offering and the name of Jesus are.
