# Tuesday Night| CHILDREN | 16th -May – 2023
Parents, when the enemy cannot possess you, he oppresses you and that is what he does. You could be there asking, why or what happened to our joy in the family? In other words, what took away our family joy? The key is in the word of God. And the bible says, the children that the Lord has given you are for miracles, signs, and wonders. Isaiah 8:18, Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion. The bible is using “I” and not we. Forget about everything else and know that the children the Lord has given you are for signs and for wonders.
Parents, create a cathedral of praise in your home and a place of joy. You children don’t walk as though you carry Uganda. Don’t behave as though you are carrying the whole Africa. You are for miracles, signs, and wonders.
I declare, the joy of the Lord is going to be so strong in your home, you shall succeed, and you shall be the head and not the tail [Deuteronomy 28:13]. The bible says, take off the garment of heaviness. And that is what I am sensing. There are kids who don’t even have a fraction of what you have. There are those who even don’t eat, and they don’t know where food will come from.
Isaiah 61:3, To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. So, you are the planting of the Lord.
“Forced joy is better than genuine depression.”
Children, you must look into the mirror and smile and tell that person, you have to be happy because you are born for such a time as this. You are the temple of the Holy Spirit [1 Corinthians 6:19]. You must choose to be happy. You have a mother and a dad. They are those who don’t have any, not even a fraction of what you have.
Always remember this, greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world [1 John 4:4]. Sometimes what is in your home is a spirit of sadness which you have to drive out. Get involved in the things of God and encourage one another. Encourage your parents. You can either create your house to be a paradise or turn it to be a house of zombies.
“Remember, the joy of the Lord is your strength [Nehemiah 8:10].”
And how do you receive the Holy Spirit? Every morning, greet Him, “Good Morning Holy Spirit”, in the noon, “Good afternoon Holy Spirit”, and in the evening, “Good evening Holy Spirit.” And then start LAUGHING.
I realized long time ago that happiness and joy is a choice. There are people who think that when you look serious, you are serious, and there are some people who are anointed with a spirit of sadness and the bible calls them Sadducees.
In the name of Jesus, you are going to be wonderful children. You will do marvelous things.
Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I bless you for these families. Make these kids great. Make these families great. Bless the parents and their children. Make them one. Let them feel your presence. They are special people, and they are called by your name. They know you Jesus. Let every garment of heaviness just leave them now in Jesus’ name.
