Don’t be offended

#4th anniversary Celebrations of 77 D.O.Gs – Sept 23rd

In Matthew chapter 24, the disciples came to Jesus and asked Him, what would be some of the signs that will occur before His return? I think, we all know that we are living in the days of the return of Jesus Christ. And I want us to focus on verse 10 where Jesus made this statement: “And then many will be offended,...” The Greek word for ‘many’ literally means ‘majority’. So we are not talking about a small number here. We are talking about over 50%. “…they will betray one another, and will hate one another.” Now this is a progression. An offended person will eventually betray and if betrayal is not dealt with, it will lead to hatred. You could ask me, where do I get this from? Proverbs 18:19 says, A brother offended [is harder to win] than a strong city. In the days of Solomon who wrote the book of Proverbs, a strong city was surrounded by walls. And those walls were built for protection.

This is what an offended Christian does; when they are hurt by somebody, they begin to build walls. Now these walls are not physical walls like in those cities, but these walls are called strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:3 says, For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. We are in a war zone. Verse 4 says, For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds. Now what are those strongholds? He goes ahead to say what they are in verse 5: “casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” Now all these three things he talks about, what are they? These are walls of thought processes, reasoning that we develop deep in our souls that are contrary to the will of God. The will of God or the word of God is revealed in His nature. What is the nature of God? LOVE. He doesn’t have hate in Him. He is love. He is the very essence of love. So, love always wants to give and to give.

However, an offended person, someone who has been hurt begins to build these walls in their mind and emotions. The focus is no longer to give but rather it’s me to protect and protect. This makes you a perfect candidate for betrayal. A lot of people don’t understand what betrayal is. They think of Judas, but let me give you its definition. A betrayal is when I seek my protection, my interests at the expense of whom I have a relationship with. In other words, I have been hurt and I am going to protect myself even at the expense of him whom I have a relationship with because my thoughts are towards that; to protect and protect and protect. Betrayal is an ultimate abandonment of a relationship and if it’s not dealt with, it can lead to hatred.

A lot of Christians don’t understand what hatred is. They see hatred as being really angry. You can hate someone and have no emotions at all because the Greek word for hate is the Greek word which means love less. It’s a vacuum with no love residing in there. So when you look to the bible, Absalom hated Amnon and he did no evil to him [2 Samuel 13:33]. Hatred is a complete vacuum with no love in it. Hatred is very serious because the bible says, if you hate your brother, you are a murderer. Jesus talks to Christians that if you hate your brother, don’t think that you have an eternal life and my love doesn’t abide in you.

Jesus talks to His disciples that in the last days, many will be offended, they will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then He gives an alarming sign in Matthew 24:11, many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. Now who are the ‘many’ that these false prophets are going to deceive? The many that were offended. “An offended heart is the breeding ground for deception.” There is one major problem with deception and it’s deceiving. The person who is deceived believes with all their heart that they are right yet in reality they are wrong. So, Jesus said these false prophets are going to deceive many who are offended but listen to this; Jesus in the gospels calls these false prophets wolves. Wolves travel in packs and what they do is to isolate the sheep from the herd [where its protection is]. That’s why it’s so important that we don’t forsake the assembling of ourselves together.

Proverbs 18:1 says, A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; He rages against all wise judgment. Why? Because we are now target for the wolves pack. In verse 12 of Matthew 24, Jesus says, And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. The Greek word for lawlessness is anomia, which simply means, you are not submitted to the authority of God’s word. So what is lawlessness thinking? Is when I think contrary to the word of God. Lawlessness thinking is created by offence. You have your walls to protect, protect and protect. Lawlessness abounds in our society today and it’s in the four corners of the church. Jesus said, “the love of many will grow cold.” The world doesn’t have agape which is the love of God and Jesus said, the world cannot receive it.

So, Jesus says, because lawlessness will abound, the agape love of many is going to grow cold. How do I know this is true? Because of verse 13: Jesus said, But he who endures to the end shall be saved [Matthew 24:13]. When you look at the last person and tell them that if you endure to the end, you shall be saved. The last person hasn’t even started the race. When He says, “he who endures”, He is talking to the believers. So, what Jesus is saying is that in the last days, offence will create betrayals, strongholds and it will cause the love of God to grow cold and deception will be rampant. That’s why this message is so important.

David made a statement: he said, it was not an enemy that offended me, it was you my brother. We went into the house of God together. We heard the word of God together, and it’s you who started me wrong [Psalms 55:12-13]. The person who can hurt us the deepest is the person who is the closet to us. A lot of Christians say, the world treats them better than some Christians. Why do they say that? Because our expectations to the world is zero. We have expectation levels on the believers and we have higher expectations on our spouses, and we really have a higher expectations on our pastors, and if they don’t meet those expectations, we set up ourselves for an offence. We position ourselves for an offence by having wrong expectations.

If you want to categorize the offended people, you can put them in two categories. Category 1 are those who have been genuinely mistreated. Category 2 are those who think that they have been mistreated. Category 2, maybe they got wrong information or they got right information but they discerned inaccurately. Okay, let me say, you have been genuinely mistreated, do you have the right to be offended? If you want to go to hell, God will protect you to do it because He gave you a free will. If you’re to walk in fellowship with God, you don’t have the right to be offended. Many people say, wait a minute, you don’t even know what they did to me? A person who says that, doesn’t know how much they were forgiven. Think about this statement: the person (Christian) who cannot forgive, is the person who has forgotten or not realized what they have been forgiven of. If you look at what we deserved when Adam sinned against God and chose to obey Satan’s word over God’s word; God the Father would have looked at Jesus and said, they chose devil over us, let them all go to all and burn forever and let’s create another universe with someone who really loves us. If He had done that, it would be JUST compared to what we had done to hurt Him; the way we offended Him.

I find one of the problems in church is that we categorize sin. We have the big sins like murder, stealing, adultery, witchcraft, and the other sins we call them weaknesses like unforgiveness, strife, gossip. Let me make this statement: in Proverbs 6:16, These six [things] the LORD hates, Yes, seven [are] an abomination to Him. You know what is amazing, adultery is not on the list and I am not supporting adultery. The seventh thing which God says is an abomination is “Gossip.” So, treat gossip as you treat adultery, and you will probably get free. Treat unforgiveness the way you treat murder and probably you will end up forgiving. The problem is that we categorize sin, yet sin is sin. Anybody who truly loves God has no desire to sin. Anybody who loves God doesn’t say, oh grace covers me, let me go and shoot this guy, Jesus will forgive me. Nobody who has God’s nature has that desire. Categorizing sin has set us up to fall into sin because we see it as a weakness not realizing that it put Jesus on the cross.

If you look at the very foundation that put Jesus on the cross at Calvary is forgiveness. Why would Peter look at Jesus and say, my brother sinned against me seven times and that’s enough to forgive. But Jesus said, no, its 7*7 in one day. I don’t know of anyone who can sin 490 times in a day. Jesus tells us that our forgiveness must be like that of our heavenly Father. Jesus in the parable of the unforgiving servant, Matthew 18:21-35 reveals to us when a Christian doesn’t forgive, they are turned to the tormentors. When you don’t forgive, you live a tormenting life, and instead of ministry becoming a passion, it becomes an occupation.

Paul says in Acts 24:16, And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and [toward] men. The key word is exercise. There are certain offences that are treated as though they are wounds to us and wounds don’t heal overnight. Wounds if not properly dealt with, they never heal. There are people who are not reading the word, not praying in the spirit, they are vulnerable to be easily wounded. Psalms says, great peace have they that love your word, nothing can offend them [Psalms 119:165]. If we are strong enough, we are beyond the capability of being wounded. The reason why people are easily wounded is because they don’t spend time in the word of God and praying in the spirit. We as Christians must exercise if we are to be healed from our wounds. Matthew 5:44 says, But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Jesus never told you to pray for your mother, but He said, pray for the person who mistreats and abuses you.

David said in Psalms 35:11-12 says, I was paid evil for good. Sometimes you need to pray whatever you need in your life for the person who hurt you. You pray the truth and not what you feel it’s good. Jesus tells you, when a brother sins against you, go to him and reconcile. There’s a difference between forgiveness and reconciliation if you look at it from the cross. Jesus forgave us when He hung on the cross and said, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do” [Luke 23:34]. He wasn’t just speaking to the soldiers or Pharisees, He was speaking to the next and next generation. Jesus forgave us before we ever said, “I am sorry.” And when were we reconciled to God? When we repented; when we said, “Lord, am sorry please forgive me.” And what leads us to reconciliation is the goodness and mercies of God. When Jesus says, go to your brother, it means “Go and create an atmosphere of goodness and mercy.”

Friends, if you have never given your life to Jesus and you want to make Him first in your life, just say this simple prayer: “Lord Jesus, I ask you to be the Lord of my life; forgive me of all my sins; cleanse me; I believe You died on the cross for me and You rose from the dead. I ask you to be first in my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit; make me a new person and I believe in You in Jesus’ name.” You are Now a born again.

The Power of Prayer

#4th anniversary Celebrations of 77 D.O.Gs – Sept 23rd

People of God, we need to look at these characters: Hezekiah, Cain, David and many others who reversed God’s decision in a split of a second. It’s not them but God. When God is a good God, a loving God, when His character is true and He is faithful, whoever comes to Him finds mercy. David was supposed to die. A prophet came to him and said, there was a man who stole somebody’s little sheep, ate it and made party for himself. David said, he should die and the prophet said, it’s you [2 Samuel 12:1-9]. David cried to God in Psalms 51 and immediately God answered him. God restored him. He gave him the joy of salvation. Cain, the same: after killing his brother (Abel), he ran to the God of mercy and God delivered him and gave him an anointing to build a city, and the rest is history [Genesis 4:1-17].

Another man is Hezekiah. This one didn’t sin nor did he do any wrong to anyone but he just got sick. I believe sickness is an entanglement with satan. Satan is the one who brings sicknesses, Cancer, Ebola, coronavirus because the end game of sickness is death. Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy, and that’s the end game of sickness and disease [John 10:10]. That’s why God says in the book of Exodus 15:26, “I am the LORD that healeth thee.” And By His stripes we are healed [Isaiah 53:5]. Child of God, I want you to understand that sickness and diseases are not of God. So, as we trust in the Lord to heal us, we realize that our God is a healer; He is faithful; He is wonderful; He is powerful and this is the God I am talking about. He is the God who is inviting us to come to Him. Hezekiah just got sick that he reached a point of death, and a prophet came [2 kings 20]. This prophet was a prophet of good news, Isaiah the son of Amoz. He prophesied about the nine names of God. He saw a king. He saw the LORD with His splendor filling the temple. He said, “The God I saw was so glorious that His train filled the temple” [Isaiah 6:1]. And amazingly, you begin to realize in Isaiah chapter 9:6, he tells us the names of Jesus; Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

In Isaiah chapter 35, he reveals the healing power of God. He said, vengeance is coming but God will spear you; the lame shall walk; the eyes of the blind shall be opened; there shall be a highway of Holiness. Isaiah 45, he tells us that He opens up the wealth in dark places. He said you shall decree a thing and it shall be established for you. Isaiah 53:5, he said, and by His strips we are healed. Isaiah 61, he said, Arise and shine. But when it came to Hezekiah, that all went through the window. He didn’t bring good news. He said to Hezekiah, “Set your house in order, for you shall die, and not live” [2 kings 20:1]. In other words, you are going to die and your legacy will be thrown through the window; you will not be remembered; whatever you have ever done, it was for nothing. All of us are going to die but not all of us are going to live. What do I mean by living? Living is posterity. Living is remaining even when you’re dead. People in America who built stuff, they died long time ago but their names are still living. Churchill died long time ago but his name remained. Is your name going to remain? Your name doesn’t remain on nothing but it remains on structures; it remains on a memorial. I declare, your name will remain as a memorial, and that is why God told the children of Israel as they were crossing river Jordan to pick up those stone which will be a memorial [Joshua 4:1-7].

Child of God, Jesus turned to the woman with an alabaster box who poured oil on his head and said, she has done this to anoint me for My burial. Therefore, “wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a ‘memorial’ to her” [Matthew 26:12-13]. We remember Joseph of Arimathaea but we do not remember the women that cried from Jerusalem to calvary. In fact Jesus told them, “weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children” [Luke 23:28]. There are certain things that you and I will do and Generations will remember, that when there was Covid-19, there was a man and a woman who stood in the gap and rebuked the powers of darkness. Joshua is remembered for standing up, and stopping the sun and the moon [Joshua 10:12-14]. That is exactly what will happen on Sept-28th -2020. We are stopping the clock. He who will be going to bath or for lunch or to work will stop, and I am appealing to the entire Nation to stop on that day for two hours and thank God; praise Him, worship Him and pray.

2 Chronicles 7:14 reads, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. That will happen on Monday, Sept-28th from 11am to 1 pm [EAT]. It’s very simple, He said, “if My people who are called by My name”; can stop what they are doing, can stop complaining and pray. That is what He was saying. He says, “humble yourself”, stop what you’re doing and pay attention to God. Then He said, “seek My face.” In those two hours, we shall be seeking the face of God, not the face of a leader, politician, religion or preacher. We shall be injecting in because the kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent take it by force.

This fifth year of the 77 days of Glory, we take it by force; we will take the promises of God by force. We will take this 5th year by prayer, repentance, atonement, crying unto God, seeking God, desiring God and loving God. For the kingdom of God suffers violence, and the violent take it by force [Matthew 11:12], and If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray…Miracles are going to happen. Your land shall be healed; your home is going to be healed; your family is going to be blessed. Something supernatural is going to happen to this country on Sept-28th -2020, I don’t know what it is, and that’s why the devil is scared and what he can say is death. We are not dying because we have an assignment. If God has ever given you an assignment that’s proof that you are not dying but you will live for His glory. This has never happened before, can you be part of it? Can your organization, family, income and resources be part of it? It’s time for us to be part of what God is doing so that when books are written, they will say, there was a generation in 2020, on Sept-28th , that stopped whatever they were doing and prayed.

The bible says, when Hezekiah was not going to leave a legacy, he turned to the wall and prayed [2kings 20:2-3]. I don’t know for how long, maybe for one hour or two hours. You might say, pastor, why don’t we do the whole day? It’s about resources but let’s start where we are. Jesus said, can’t you be with me for at least an hour? [Matthew 26:40] Let’s give Him two hours because we are in the 21 century. We cannot do as the first century. We can do better than them. We believe in the double anointing. We don’t only need God to forgive our sins and heal our land, but we also want Him to give us the double anointing; we want our joy, freedom, life, provisions, protection, Anointing, reputation, the Holy Ghost, revival, healing, children, husbands, wives, land and prosperity back. We want double–double!!

What did Hezekiah do when he prayed? God gave Him 15 more years. Why 15? So that he could build two pools and the conduit that would bring water into the city of Jerusalem, because Jesus was coming and needed those two pools. One is a pool of Siloam where a blind man who had no eye balls, Jesus mixed the mud and spat on it and made two eyes which he fixed in his eye sockets and said, go and wash, and the man did, and he saw [John 9:7]. God fixed his face. Man came from the dust and Jesus picked his eyes from the dust. Jesus did what only God could do. Then He needed the pool of Bethesda where the angel used to come and stir up the water. Jesus found a man lying there for 38years [John 5:1-9]. Those 38years and above, I declare that the impotence is out of your life; poverty is out of your life.

Overcoming The Storms of Life

Pr. Sarah Wehrli

#4th anniversary Celebrations of 77 D.O.Gs – Sept 22nd

When you read Mark 4:35-41, you see that the disciples and Jesus were on their way to another place when they encountered the storm. How many of you have been through a storm? Many of us have been through storms physically but also in other realms, challenges, troubles, trials and all these go through storms. Today I want to talk to you about “overcoming the storms of life.

A few years ago, Caleb and I were living in Florida, a very tropical place and we were planting a church there. As we were there in the fall of 2016, there was a huge storm that was coming through that area. People were told to get prepared and we too got prepared, we prayed for divine protection and covering over our lives. In the middle of that storm, I remember looking through the window and things were flying all over the place. There were certain trees going back and forth. I noticed our palm trees which were at the backyard dipped down to the ground but they bounced back. I remember, after the storm, we walked out thankfully we were still alive, our house was still there, our church and the people out there, were all safe. When I looked at our palm trees, they looked like nothing had happened yet things were all over the place, trees had been uprooted but our palm trees had bounced back to their place. This inspired me to research about palm trees and as I studied, I found out that a palm tree is so resilient that even in the midst of the storm, its roots are actually strengthened. Not only that, but as it is pressed deep down, it grows more and it has this bounce back ability on the inside of it. The palm tree is resilient that it continues to bear fruit. In fact every aspect of it is useful. As I purposed to study the word of God, I realize that the palm tree is a symbol of victory and praise throughout the bible. And I took that in my own spirit and I began to look at psalms 92:12-14 which says this, and I want to encourage you in this today; The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green. God has called us to flourish even in the midst of storms and challenges.

God has put that SAME spirit that raised Jesus from the dead in the inside of you, and that same spirit causes you to rise up even in the midst of challenges. Each one of us faces storms and challenges but this is what Jesus said in John 16:33, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. So today I want to encourage you that the same spirit that raised Christ lives in the inside of you; He is for you and with you; He will help you to rise above just like that palm tree. He will help you overcome the trials, the challenges and the hardship that you might be facing.

In Mark 6, when Jesus found out that His cousin, John the Baptist was beheaded, He was grieved. He told His disciples to get into the boat and they moved to the other side of the river, where He met people and He was moved with compassion. When evening came, the disciple came to Him and said, the people need to eat. He told them to give them something to eat. And what they could find were the five loaves and two fish of a little boy which they brought to Him and He multiplied them and fed 5000people. A miracle happened in the midst of a loss of Jesus’ cousin. Whenever you offer what you have to Jesus, He will multiply it.

Hebrews 12: 1-2[a] says, Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares [us,] and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of [our] faith… Each one of us has to run their race. No matter what you are facing today; maybe a loss of a loved one, maybe you are dealing with a sickness in your body, maybe it’s in your finances or career, maybe it’s a dream that God is putting in your heart or you may be facing a storm, I want to encourage you today that you can overcome and flourish.

Today, I want to challenge you with three things from this passage which I read earlier, of how to overcome, and the first thing that I want to encourage you is that Jesus is in the midst of your storm, challenge, what you are going through and this pandemic [COVID-19]. Remember Jesus is with you. The Son of God, the creator of the universe, He is with you. In the midst of the storm, the disciples had forgotten who was in their boat, yet Jesus, the creator of the universe was with them. The disciples were afraid and thought, they were going to die but JESUS stood in the boat and spoke peace to the storm. I want to encourage you today to remember who is with you today, and remember who you are in Christ. Remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in this world. Romans 8:11 says, And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you. And he says in verse 35, Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? Verse 37-39, No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Nothing can separate you from the love of God. And the bible says, His perfect love casts out fear [1 John 4:18]. I want you to get the revelation of the love of God for you today. He loves you. You are valuable to Him. You are precious to Him. He knows you by name. He knows every hair on your head and He created you on purpose.

Today, I want to remind you that Jesus is with you; He is in your boat. He is with you even in the midst of the storm and challenges; even in those moments when you feel alone and no one cares, He loves you and He is with you. The other thing I want to remind you of in 1 John 4:4, “Greater is He that is in you than the devil that is in this world.” God is greater than any evil you might face. Apostle Paul writes with an insight of who was with him in Acts 16. When Paul and Silas were preaching the gospel, doing what was right, they were thrown in a jail. Paul and Silas remembered who was with them, and the bible says that at midnight they began to sing hymns and praises to God who sent an earthquake and it shook the entire prison; the prison doors were opened and the chains fell off from them. And Paul and Silas walked out of that jail free. They not only got out of the prison free, but they were able to lead the jailer and his entire family to salvation. A miracle happened because Paul remembered who was with him. Even in the hardships and troubles, he remembered that Jesus was with him.

The second thing I want to remind you from the above passage is to take authority. You see in the midst of the storm, Jesus rose up and spoke to the winds and waves, “peace be still. You have to speak peace to your mind sometimes when there’s a storm raging in the inside of you. You have to speak peace when a storm is raging in your home. Speak peace over your circumstances.  And I want to encourage you to take the authority that Christ has given you. The bible says in Luke 10:19, I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions (snakes and scorpions, He is referring to the devil and demons), and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. Remember your authority. Your words are powerful especially when you speak His word because angels harken and respond to the word of God. Mark 11:22-24, Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. We take authority when we believe the word of God and speak it through our mouth. I want to encourage you to speak life over your circumstance; to speak healing where there’s illness, by Jesus’ stripes we are healed. Speak the word of God because it’s a sword.

The last thing I want to remind you from this passage is, remember people are on the other side of the storm. Many people when they read this story in Mark 4, they close the book after the storm stops. They think that’s the end of the story, but that’s not the end of the story. In Mark 5:1-20, it says when they got off the boat and got to the other side, there was a demon possessed man who came out of the tombs, and he had been living in the tombs and caves because he was tormented by the devil, and that moment Jesus commanded the evil spirits to leave his body. The bible says, those demons went into the pigs and they jumped into the water that day and drowned, but the man was completely transformed. He was in his right mind and set free. He fell at the feet of Jesus and begged to go with Him, but Jesus said no. He told that man, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” And the bible says, that man went in the whole region telling them what Jesus had done for him and they were amazed.

Sometimes we forget that on the other side of our storm, there are people who need our hope, who need freedom and deliverance. Today, I want to remind you that there are people who need what you have; the word of God, the hope you have in Jesus. People are desperate for hope and peace, and you have it because you have Jesus. If you know Jesus, you have that hope.

As I conclude this text: I want you to remember that when you are in a storm, Jesus is with you. Remember to take authority. Remember, there are people on the other side of your obedience. God is with you today and He is going to help you overcome.

#4th anniversary Celebrations of 77 D.O.Gs – Sept 21st

We are living in this time and it’s not about your finances, worship or giving but it’s about every part of your life. Let us be obedient to the spirit of God and the word of God. Let faith arise. Many people in this time if you can look around, look at the world, the nations and things being said, who do we believe in? We will believe in the report of the Lord. We believe in His word. Faith has risen in the inside of us. We are listening to the Holy Spirit. And here in Philippians 4:19, Paul was saying, And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. When you look at this word, God wants His church blessed. He wants you to be this bright light physically, spiritually, financially, socially and even in your family. God wants you to be blessed in this season that people will look and ask, what is it about you? And here in verse 17 of the same chapter, Paul says, Not that I seek or am eager for [your] gift, but I do seek and am eager for the fruit which increases to your credit [the harvest of blessing that is accumulating to your account]. Is money accumulating on your account? Let’s say, finances are accumulating on your account. You see God wants an increase on your account. He wants your seed to increase so that you can have an abundant harvest.

We come to God so that we can increase spiritually. Hence, we come to hear His word so that there may be a deposit on the inside of us. We come expecting.  I always remember, when I first came (to church), I was the angriest person on the earth and I wanted my life to be safe, set free, healed and made whole. I was going through a mess and life wasn’t worth living with four little children who were under age. But I wanted to hear the word of God, because faith [comes] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God [Romans 10:17]. When we hear the word of God, that’s the only way we can grow in faith. You can also grow in the enemy’s camp too; by hearing negativity, by hearing death and when you keep speaking it, you are growing it. There are always two realms; good or evil, heaven or hell. We are hearing what we are speaking, and that is why we must let faith arise. Proverbs 18:21 says, Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. A spoken word is as good as a visitation from Jesus. Why? Because Jesus is the word made flesh. Psalms 107:20, He sent His word and healed them, And delivered [them] from their destructions. Jesus came into the earth to set us free, and that is why He has never changed: He is the same, yesterday, today and forever. Proverbs 13:3 says, He who guards his mouth keeps his life, but he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. You could have had a death sentence on your life but you can reverse that curse with the words of your mouth. Psalms 141:3 says, Set a guard, O Lord, before my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips. The mouth is an area that gets us into trouble but it’s also the same area that gets us out of trouble too. So, that’s good news.

We are not perfect people but we just spend time in the secret place. Psalms 91:1, He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. We have to abide under the shadow of the Almighty, and that’s the place of peace, protection and prayer. When we take time in the secret place, we open up to know the voice of the Holy Spirit. It takes training to know that still small voice of the Holy Spirit. We train to confront those powers of darkness. We train to be God’s representatives. Wherever you are, you are His army out there in the market place; you are a mighty and awesome army. We are taking back this nation for Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit. As we obey the word of God and listen to the Holy Spirit’s leading, we will know every step to take in the days ahead. All we have to do is to obey His instructions, and He guarantees us blessings and provisions even in these difficult times.

It’s so important to know in your heart that God wants to bless, but you must do what He tells you to do if you want His divine blessings and protection. All that is through obedience. Jesus was obedient unto death. Disobedience came through Adam and Eva but God took that away through His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus was obedient even when He was facing the cross. Can you imagine the terror he was facing at the cross? God loves you, He gave His life for you. Even when you feel not loved, just start to declare it upon your life how God loves you; if you were the only person on the earth, He gave His life. How much He loves us, it doesn’t matter. No matter where you are or what you have been through or how angry you are, when you come His way, you learn and grow, and you are never disappointed.

It’s also very important to say what God says. Say what the word of God says about your life. We are hidden in Him which takes take time and intimacy. We are made in His image. We have been made complete and righteous in Him. We are healed by Him and delivered from the powers of darkness. We have to increase in the level of our faith. Faith is what pleases God, and faith [comes] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Stand on the word of God, exercise your faith and listen to the Holy Spirit what He tells you to do. Spiritual things are very similar to the natural things. If you don’t start exercising your spiritual muscles with the word of God, your spirit man what He does, is to wait to hear what the word says about your circumstance, business, marriage, nations… The spirit man in the inside of you is the Holy Spirit who lives in the inside of you, and He only moves on the word of God.

2 Timothy 3:1, BUT UNDERSTAND this, that in the last days will come (set in) perilous times of great stress and trouble [hard to deal with and hard to bear]. Perilous means something that is difficult or hard to live. This is a prophetic warning to us, and we are living in difficult times where we need great sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. When we speak under the power of the Holy Spirit over your life and marriage, it’s like sending prophetic missiles through the second heaven which is a spiritual realm, because we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places] [Ephesians 6:12]. That’s why prayer is so important, and the word of God is so prophetic. We are prophetic people and we have the greatest prophet living in the inside of us. We were made in the image of Him. What else do you want? You should rise up in the inside of you, and the Spirit of God is the ONE who is in the inside of you not something on the outside. Your spirit should cry out, God what do you want me to do? God what are you saying to me? God what do you want me to do in this time? God reveal to me, I am hungry and passionate; I want to grow in the things of God. If we turn to God, He is faithful to open every door of our lives. Even when you say, no I don’t know what to do, God is not a respecter of persons. It doesn’t matter where you are right now, you could even be having death sentences on your life, praise God for the doctors but I want you to listen to Doctor Jesus who is in the inside of you who will give you a rhema word that will give you longer life.

Romans 8:14, For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. Jesus said, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own [authority,] but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come [John 16:13]. The Holy Spirit is our guide. We come together to grow. Nothing is like being in the presence of the Holy Spirit; being together, standing together, being united together. There is something when we come in His presence and sit just there expecting to receive from Him. The Centurion said to Jesus, speak a word and my servant will be healed. When Jesus spoke the word, the spirits left and deliverance came [Matthew 8:5 &13]. Is that what you are expecting? How powerful it is, and there is nothing like the presence of God. How hungry and passionate are you? The wise will learn to grow in faith and call the things that don’t exist as though they are. 2 Corinthians 4:18 says, While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal. What is happening in the world is temporary. So when it comes to faith, we are bringing from the unseen to the eternal. That’s why we call things which are not seen as though they are. Speak those prophetic missiles over your life, city, nation, for the bible says, you shall declare a thing and it will be established for you [Job 22:28].

Mark 11:20-22, Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.” So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. Jesus said, have the God kind of faith; have faith in God. Let faith arise and your enemies be scattered. The enemy is already defeated and he is under our feet. Jesus defeated him at the cross, and He wants us to walk now in the victory. Faith is always NOW. We are the NOW generation. You have to say it; you got born-again when you said it. John 14:12-14 says, Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater [works] than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do [it.] When you ask anything according to His word, He will do it. You must fit what you want to do in the word of God and He will do it for you. You could be facing giants before you, maybe you lost your job, you have financial challenges and there is a death sentence over your life, you have to speak. 2 Corinthians 4:13, And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, [“I believed and therefore I spoke,”]we also believe and therefore speak. We have the spirit of faith in our lives, so speak faith and your feelings will get in line. When you speak, you start to see and know. Then your pain will also leave. What do you do with your faith? Jesus used words.

As I conclude: Each one of has a mountain, maybe it is a mountain of fear, lack, disease in your family, something in your body, you have to cast it out into the sea and believe. You must also forgive those who have trespassed against you. When you don’t forgive, it affects you. Don’t be too proud not to forgive or even to say sorry. Even to your children, when you know that you are in the wrong and they are right, say sorry to them because they will grow up learning how to forgive. How powerful are words? God created the earth with His words, the creative force of the Holy Spirit. Mark 11:23-26 is a faith message and faith prayer.

God is looking for Vessels

Pr. Caleb Wehrli

#4th anniversary Celebrations of 77 D.O.Gs, Sept-20th

I want to share a word from 2 kings 4:1-7. This is a familiar passage of scripture as I was talking to Pr. Robert on the phone, less than a month ago, and he was sharing with me the revelations that God was giving him through this passage. Before this pandemic, I was studying this passage and sharing the different aspects of this word, and I really believe this is a word for someone out there that God has something He wants to speak to you.

So this passage in 2 Kings talks about Prophet Elisha and the woman, and the scripture starts by saying, A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the LORD. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.”  Verse 2: So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” In the midst of her need, the prophet asked her a question; what do you have in the house? And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.” Then listen to what Elisha said from verse 3 to 5: Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.” So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought [the vessels] to her; and she poured [it] out. Verse 6: Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “[There is] not another vessel.” So the oil ceased. Empty vessels were miraculously filled up through a supernatural miracle. She said to her son, “bring me another vessel” Verse 7 reads; Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you [and] your sons live on the rest.”

The word I have for you today is this, “God is still looking for available vessels.” The story we have just read here is about the vessels being filled with oil, and this text reveals to us that there wasn’t shortage of oil but shortage of vessels. I believe when God looks at the span of the earth in this day and age, He is looking out for vessels that He can use; vessels He can fill; vessels He can empower and He can flow through.

I challenge you today to be God’s vessel. Be the available vessel that God can use. I don’t know what you are going through or your circumstances but what I do know is that God is looking for vessels He can fill and flow through. I ask you right now to determine in your heart to be an available vessel that God can use. Think about heaven, it has the oil but it needs the vessels.

So you can ask, what is the oil? In this story, the oil represents the presence of God; it represents God’s glory. As we also see in scripture that the joy of the Lord is the oil; strength of the Lord symbolizes the oil. The Holy Spirit and His power are symbolized in the oil. So friends, I want to encourage you that God has unlimited supply of the oil but He is looking for a vessel. I wonder if you can be that vessel that God can flow in; that God can pour in His Holy Spirit. There is more power and peace that God wants to give you right now. Even when you look at yourself as not capable to be used of God, I want to encourage you that God is still looking for vessels. God is not looking for a perfect or educated or the most fluent vessel but He is looking for the available vessel to use. When you make yourself available to God, He will make you CAPABLE. God is looking for available vessel and people He can flow through.

Friends, be determined in your hearts to be one of the people God will use to bring about His plans here on earth. I remember praying a small prayer 25 years ago at a certain rural village in Africa, and what I experienced was the joy of helping others and being available. That small prayer is what has led me to minister with you tonight on this broadcast. It was that small prayer of availability that I now want His will to be done in my life. I won’t be ministering God’s word with confidence if I had no understanding of availability. But this is what I realized, God is not looking for a moment of availability, He is looking for a lifetime of availability. He doesn’t want to seek Him for a moment because you have had moments with Him; maybe while watching a broadcast or attending a church service, or you thought that’s it, you surrendered to Him; you had an encounter with Him and felt the presence of the Holy Spirit, or you are still looking back at those moments as to when God ever moved. But friends, this revival is a proof that God doesn’t want to move once in a while but He wants to move all the time. God needs available people and vessels.

Friends, heaven has the oil but it’s looking the vessels. Will you be the available vessel? When you think about a vessel, it’s a substance carrying something somewhere. A vessel is a substance that contains something to be transported. The container is important because of the substance which is inside. The substance is what brings life. You are the vessel and you contain a source which is powerful; you contain the presence of God. The bible says in Romans 8:11, But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. You are the vessel and He is the source. His Spirit is raised up in the inside of you. When we look at the book of Acts, the Holy Spirit was poured out on those early followers of Jesus. He filled them to the overflow. You are the vessel that God wants to use but He also wants to flood your life with His source of hope, strength, peace and power. The vessel is very valuable because of the substance it carries. The bible says we were created from the dust and you could think that the dust is not valuable yet Jesus the Son of God gave His life. You are the most expensive thing on the earth and never devalue yourself because Jesus gave His life for you.

Ask yourself, what is in my life that God is asking to be available? This story in 2 kings 4 reveals to us how Elisha responded to this woman with a question. “What do you have in your house?” It’s amazing that her response shows the attitude she was in. When asked what she had, she said, “I have nothing BUT a jar of OIL.” So I want to ask you a question, was it nothing or was it something? In reality, the prophet was helping her understand. You might have nothing yet when you actually have something. Elisha was encouraging this woman to use what she had. Don’t look at what you don’t have but look at what you do have. Everyone has something and that’s what the prophet was trying to point out to this woman; that use what you think you don’t have and watch God multiply. The bible says, as long as the earth remains, seed, time and harvest shall not cease [Genesis 8:22]. What if this woman had a seed and that’s what the prophet was asking so that it could produce a miracle harvest. We see a multiplication, and after she used what she had, there was a great harvest. You could say, you have nothing and this pandemic has not left anything for you but I say that you have something with you; you have the breath.

There are three things that we must notice from this story; go borrow vessels from your neighbors and friends as many vessels as you can. The key for being an available vessel from this scripture is humility. Elisha was trying to help this woman understand that for her to step into her season, she had to be humble. Something powerful takes place when we humble ourselves. To be an available vessel to be used of God, it requires an awareness that you cannot do it by yourself. Your money, education, relationships and connections, none of these will bring you to a place where God requires you to be. You cannot make it in this life by yourself; it requires humility. James 4:6 says, But He gives more grace. Therefore He says:  [“God resists the proud,] [But gives grace to the humble.”] There is grace that is coming to you when you open up and say, Lord, I can’t do it on my own; I can’t make it in my own ability any longer, I need You to come in; invade my life, my house, I need You to work a miracle, and once you do that, He comes in and floods your life but it takes humility. And maybe that’s where you are right now. You don’t know how to move on but through humility, there comes strength. Remember, God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Grace is actually the word for empowerment; the power of the Holy Spirit. The grace that is not just covering your past but the grace that is empowering you for your future. Through humility you receive power and strength. For this woman to get her miracle, we see humility involved. Understand that God to work in your life, you must be humble.

Another thing we see in this story after this woman was told to go and borrow as many vessels as she could, was an instruction to bring “empty vessels.” This reveals to me that in order for any vessel to be used of God, it requires complete surrender. Surrender is the emptying of yourself. It’s the emptying of your dreams, plans and purposes. Surrendering of your WILL to God. Isn’t this the way Jesus told us to pray when He said, Your Will be done on earth as it is in heaven? That is what God wants each of His children to pray. Praying and believing; “Lord, let Your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven,” that’s surrendering your WILL for God’s WILL, to fill and flood you with what He wants. Elisha told the woman to bring empty vessels, and God is still looking for empty vessels that He can use and do miracles in, but He is also looking for someone to surrender. Wherever you are right now, why don’t you just surrender everything to God? Ask Him to have His way in you. Surrender that weakness or habit to God and I pray that the Holy Spirit will flood your life, your room and office. And in this moment of surrender, may the Lord bring you great strength. Holy Spirit have Your way in our hearts, minds and lives.

What Elisha was helping this woman understand was that the key to her miracle was going to come through humility but to be accessed through surrender. In your surrender, the Lord will bring supernatural strength.  Jesus said in Matthew 16:24-25, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. Is there anything in your life that needs to be emptied? Is there anything in your life that has been holding you? Jesus through this passage is telling you to let it go; He is saying that you don’t have to hold onto your past. Maybe it’s a relationship that never worked out, something bothering your mind because people mistreated you, maybe circumstances have let you down and you don’t know how to get out, I want to encourage you to ask God to help you, and in your words, you can say, “Lord, I release it to You; I surrender it to You!” Something powerful happens when we surrender and that is the OIL. That same oil that was poured into these vessels can be poured into your life.

Friends, as it takes humility and surrender, it also takes the boldness. And this is what the prophet said in verse 3, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few.” God is looking for bold people; men and women who can pray bold prayers. Miracle Centre, God has called you to be bold. It takes boldness in the midst of a pandemic to conduct a revival service every night reaching out to over 150 nations. On the other side of boldness, we see supernatural power. With that boldness comes an outpouring of fresh oil. I want to challenge you that God wants to take you to another level but it requires boldness on your part. It is going to require you to do some things maybe in your giving, believing God, and may be in your obedience to God to be bold. God has more in store for your life. What are those bold steps that God is leading you to take during this period of time? There are certain things that God wants you to do but you must be bold. Remember, Heaven has the oil but it needs the vessels to use.

Being recognized by God.

#Sunday Online Experience – Sept 20th

During the week, the Lord revealed to me something very powerful, and this is what the Lord told me, working with God; moving with God; living with God. Throughout history, saints, there are people who found themselves in the pages of the bible not because they were born on Sunday, but they did something that caused God to recognize them.

So let me use a subject, “Being recognized by God.” Everything we do as humans, we want to be recognized; either you are taking care of your children or blessing your lover or fighting your enemies. The reason why in this political season people are putting up posters is because they want to be recognized. They want to be seen. The world may not recognize you but they will notice you. On the other hand, God recognizes His people. Even in the book of Revelation, He says, He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God [Revelation 3:12]. In other words, God is looking, and He says, “I am looking for a man who can stand in the gap” [Ezekiel 22:30].

In the book of 2 kings, I want you to watch this; there was a king in Israel who suffered from a boil or a tumor and he was going to die. Prophet Isaiah, the one you know who always talks about, “He was wounded for our transgression” [Isaiah 53:5] was sent to see this king. 2 kings 20:20 reads as follows, And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? When you go to verse 1, he tells you how he got sick and how a prophet got involved to deliver to him a message that hey, “Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.” This prophet Isaiah who saw the glory of God goes to his king to deliver dooms day. So people of God, simply because someone had a good prophecy yesterday, does not mean that he has a good prophecy for you. He may be warning you; he may be telling you what he knows; he may be telling you what he has heard from other people, that with the sickness you have, you will not survive; he may come up and say, you are finished.

People always have their own opinions, but Hezekiah did something that nobody did. The bible says, Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying. Child of God, this is time for us to turn to the wall; the wall of atonement and intercession. You know the wall is where we hang stuff. A wall stands between you and the thief, a wall is a place of protection; so he turned to His protection. He turned to the strength of His protection. The strength of our protection is in God not what we have got. Your strength and my strength is in the Lord. So Hezekiah turned to the wall and these are the words he spoke in verse 3: I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done [that which is] good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. In other words, he atoned; he repented; he cried to God. He was standing on the foundation of knowing God; on the foundation of a testimony; I have done good for you, Lord; I have done something. When tough times come, the things you have done may be the only platform you can stand on to plead your case. So he pleaded his case before the Almighty God. Verse 4 is amazing, it says, And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying. Verse 5: Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.

People of God, we have a God who answers prayers. Listen to me very well: Isaiah never prayed for Hezekiah, he delivered a message of death. Because the man turned to the wall; the wall is where we hang our degrees, trophies, pictures, he turned and saw his life. He saw his memory lane. When he turned to the wall, he saw only good things, a perfect heart with no envy or malice, and he talked to God. There are certain things we do that will determine our pleading of the case tomorrow. God recognizes what you are doing. The Lord sees the little things you do unnoticed; when you help the poor, feed the hungry, when you are kind to your neighbor, when you lift up the children, support the people, intercede for the nation, the Lord is watching what you are doing. And when you turn to the wall when nobody says, “thank you”, there is a star put on your wall.

When no one is seeing you, recognizing you, saying thank you, Jehovah has put a star against your name. He knows the good things you do, and you should also have confidence that the things you have done, have not gone unnoticed. Somebody has seen them, and you are doing good things because you are building the kingdom of God. This man, Hezekiah, satan wanted him killed through a boil that affected him so that he might not do the things which he was supposed to do; that he may not be established, the very thing that redemption would require. Doing things for posterity and not for prosperity. Hezekiah never told God, I will build you a temple or a wall or a house; he said, “I have done good things.” And what are these good things he did? The bible says in verse 20: And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city

The city of Jerusalem ever since David was there, it had no water. Jerusalem is on a high hill, so to pull up water there, it required a lot of science, and they had no pullies to do it or mortars to push the water, but Hezekiah did it. And why did he bring water to the city? Two things; so that when the enemy attacks, they will have water. Water represents life, and that is the physical part. The other one is that more people were trading in Jerusalem. It was no longer the city of the king but for the people [Jews]. You know Jesus Christ had to die in Jerusalem, and note, water is a type of a spirit. Man is the one who brought water in the city by building a conduit through which water would come in. He not only built a pool but he also dug channels of water leading into the city.

When you go to the New Testament, the bible only talks about two pools, which means one of them was built by Hezekiah. And of these two pools, one is called Bethesda and then the pool of Siloam. Watch this child of God, I can literary say that Hezekiah built both of them, and we see great miracles were performed on these pools. On the pool of Siloam, Jesus said to the bind man to go and wash; And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing [John 9:7]. This man was born without eye balls, all he had were eye sockets. Where you and I have an eye was empty. There are people in this world who were born empty, they have no joy; they are empty on care, compassion, hope and inheritance. This man’s vision wasn’t there because that’s how he was born; something went wrong and it had to take Jesus back to the table of creation and he spat on the ground and molded eyes for this man and set them in his eye sockets. Jesus said to him to go and wash in the pool of Siloam. Jesus sent the blind man to the pool which this man, Hezekiah who was supposed to die built and the conduit that brought it water.

Hezekiah did something normally you don’t just have. He put in place something which Jesus would use, and that is what we call posterity. You do something for generations to come that through you the families of the earth shall be blessed. This was not only spoken to Abraham, but it’s a blessing to every believer; “through you ALL the families of the earth shall be blessed” [Genesis 12:3]. This man who was given a word to die realized that he had done certain things but there were things which he had not yet done, and if he didn’t do them, heaven would not have Jesus perform the miracle of creation.

The Jews had seen Jesus multiply fish, walk on water but they had never seen Him do the work of God. Jesus needed a pool of Siloam and Hezekiah built it and also brought water into it, such that if Jesus would come and the community doubted Him whether He was the son of God, He would be able to take them back to the table of creation and create eyes for this blind man. That which his papa and mama couldn’t give him; that which man’s genealogy couldn’t give him, Jesus of Nazareth did it for him.

God is waiting on you to do certain things that He will need tomorrow to prove that He is the only way. God is looking for the Hezekiah of this generation; you are not going to die even when people are expecting you to catch COVID-19, just turn to the wall. God is giving you ideas, and the reason He is giving you life is to build a conduit. We are not only building for prosperity, we are building for posterity. Verse 8 reads, The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged? There are those who have seen you, they have seen Africa begging, they have seen your family begging for survival, but thank God for Hezekiah. He who was meant to die, provided a pool and brought it to Jerusalem so that this man who was called a beggar, his destiny would change. People are about to say, is not this the one who used to sit there and beg? Others will say, no he is not the one. Do you know why Jesus spit on the ground and put eyes there, it was because man came from the dirst. I believe Jesus not only touched his eyes but also his face was made perfect. That’s why when they saw him, they asked? Is he the one or not? Something is about to happen to you. Those who knew you as a beggar and useless, they are about to be confused about your new appearance in the mighty name of Jesus. Why? Because the Hezekiah’s of this generation are ready to bring in the water and build the pool. You are about to stand and say, “I am he.”

In John 5:1-10, he talks about the pool of Bethesda. This pool had five porches and we are in year 5 of the revival, something good is about to happen to you. Because Hezekiah provided a conduit of water, Bethesda was created. When we provide water which is a spirit, when we provide the Holy Spirit to Kampala city then centers of miracles, signs and wonders will take place; places of reconciliation and rehabilitation will be created. This man had been in this place for 38 years, and that was an old pool. People sat there from the days of Hezekiah waiting for the angel of the Lord to come down and stir up the waters for the people to get there. None of the religious people went there to pray for the people, in fact they left their work for angels to do it for them. Child of God, never leave the work that God told you to do to the angels. You shouldn’t let the angels praise and worship God more than you can do it. You shouldn’t let angels fight when you can. You shouldn’t leave angels to feed your children when you can quit your job and take care of them. These high priests were just seated in their chairs, caring less yet there was a man seated in at the pool for 38years. Think about it, you were ordained to be a high priest and you leave after 10years, when the same man is in the same condition. How can you come into ministry and step in a village, the conditions of your church members and village stay the same? That is not our God and it’s an insult to Him.

People of God, we must create an atmosphere. We must build for posterity that this generation may know that there’s God. I now know why He started 77 Days of Glory, because there are children who never knew the power of God. There was a generation that never knew that God could save and deliver. There was a generation that knew that if you are sick, you go to Butabika or somewhere else. We didn’t know that God could raise the dead. Thank God for 77 D.O.Gs, people now know that there’s the power of God; people know that there’s the resurrection power of Jesus Christ and God can heal simultaneously. People now know that God can prosper them. People know that the Holy Spirit can transform a man. There is now a generation you cannot lie to, like the former kifeesi who are now preachers of the gospel; others are managers of farms; they are back to school; they are studying medicine and law; there is a chance to live. Therefore, I am calling upon the Hezekiahs’ of this generation, men and women who say that our nation is at the cross roads.

Jesus became an atonement for us but we need to pray, fast and turn to God. The people in the western world, they think that science can do everything and if so, what they are giving to the world, would be working by now. Why is it that the numbers are raising up again? Why is it that there are more deaths there than in Africa? Maybe they were laughing at our prayers, they used to mock our overnight prayers, saying that those are people who are used to pray and pray, they need to start working and working yet we prayed and prayed, and now God is working and working.

As I conclude get this: Hezekiah brought water in the city, and both pools are in the same gospel of John, Bethesda and Siloam. Of the two pools, which one do you want to build? The pool that delivered a man from bondage for 38years which is the transformation, healing and cancelling out the curses’ pool [called Bethesda], or the Siloam pool which I call creation, new nature and empowerment. Which pool are you going to build for the Lord?

I want to Know Him

#4th anniversary Celebrations of 77 D.O.Gs – Sept 18th

This is the moment that a cry must come forth out of our hearts, like the cry out of Apostle Paul: “that I may know Him.” Paul the Apostle was 57 years old when he cried that. Paul began to preach at the age of 30, at the age of 57 he began to cry that. We ask the question, why do you say that, Paul? Don’t you know the LORD already? What was that hard which caused you to cry? That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death [Philippians 3:10].

Moses in Exodus 33:13, we see the same cry here. He begins by saying, Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee,… Moses, we would think that he had already known the LORD; he had seen Him face to face, but he said these words; that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation [is] thy people. The cry came out that he [Moses] wanted to see the glory of God. What a powerful cry? And then we look at Exodus 34 and we see something beautiful. How the Lord answered his (Moses) prayer, he says, And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD [Exodus 34:5]. Moses experienced all that to the full knowledge of God. So, out of knowing the Lord is ongoing; we move from great knowledge to greater knowledge; from great fellowship to greater fellowship.

I am 68 years old, my cry today is the same cry; “I want to know this same JESUS.” I want to know this wonderful Savior. I don’t want to get to heaven and see how much I missed on earth, because it all begins here, that’s when you fully know the Lord here. The bible has something to tell us in Psalms 86:11, David cried, Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.” Here, another man cried to know the Lord, His ways and to walk in His truth. So those who hunger to know the Lord will always know His truth. Meaning they will be protected from deception; they will be protected from the enemy and they will be protected from terror. God’s greatest desire is you and I to know Him, not with a mentality that looks for benefits but to make Him the God of our lives who holds the supreme place in our hearts.

In Philippians 3:8, Paul says, Yea doubtless, and I count all things [but] loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them [but] dung, that I may win Christ. There’s something profound about this verse; we cannot fully know God if we are a part of our past, because he says, doubtless, he counts all things [but] loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus His Lord: for whom he has suffered the loss of all things.” This is the key; You are going to know God when you lose all things in this life. Paul said to Timothy that no solider of Jesus Christ will entangle himself in the affairs of this life [2 Timothy 2:4]. We are to carry our own cross. We cannot know the Lord if we love the world. He will not reveal Himself to any individual who is entangled with the affairs of this world. Verse 9, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith. Notice again, not only in verse 8 but also in verse 10, the same cry which is in verse 8, That I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings.” This is after he went to the third heaven and all that he had experienced. No one talks about the sharing of Jesus because they believe that is past and not present. Why did Paul want to know it [the sufferings of Christ and the fellowship of his sufferings]? He never said unto His image but he said unto His death. In other words, he wanted to disappear. He wanted Jesus to be all in all in his life. He wanted to experience death on a scale which is weighing on a physical death; death to the things of the world and even his whole life. What he was looking for was his own consolation. He removed his own consolation out of the picture that what he would know and live is Jesus. And he goes ahead to say in verse 11, If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. You are a son of God, would you attain to that? That is rubbish to most of us but you see that he was not dressed in his own flesh, his own strength, his own mind, his own heart, he didn’t trust himself. Verse 12, Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. He was a prisoner, he was captured, he was surrounded by soldiers, he was chained and he wanted to capture Christ. He wanted to apprehend, and that word “apprehend” is very powerful in Hebrew, it means to “lay hold of”. He wrote this episode in prison; he was bound in prison; he was chained in prison and he said, “I am apprehended now.” I apprehend Jesus as this prison has me.

He says in verse 13, Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. What an amazing thing that God or man would make available to all of us like that, that we can’t apprehend Him? So, He is either hiding from us or making Himself invisible or impossible to find Him and to apprehend Him; He is a hiding God, He is a running God towards us calling our names saying, “come unto me, I want you.” So Paul says, verse 14, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. What is the prize? Jesus is the prize. The high calling of God in Christ Jesus is the upward calling; going upward to where He is.

The bible tells us very clearly that our knowledge of God must increase because if our knowledge doesn’t increase, there’s danger. But look at what it says in Colossian 1:10, That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. So, knowing the Lord is daily, on-going, for life, and God is looking for a people that will know Him. In fact in the Psalms, He said to Israel, if you would know Me, look at what I will do for you. “Knowing the Lord”, in that one word is everything that the bible talks about. When you know Him, your prayer life is strong; your fellowship is strong, your worship is strong. Everything you want to do is the reason you and I were born. We were not born to know our parents, they are only vehicles that brought us in this world but we must know one person and that is Jesus Christ; not sisters, not children, not brothers, not family, not friends but JESUS. Why was I born? To win Him, that’s it. You know when people are crying, oh Lord do this, oh Lord do that, He says, “If you know Me, I will do ALL.” We cannot know God through His nature because we are revealed in parts of His ways, and the bible tells us that in Job 26:13-14. Verse 14, Lo, these [are] parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?

This is what amazes me when you read 1 Corinthians chapter 2, and look at this remarkable scripture beginning at verse 10-12; But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. What are those free things? The deep things of God. The Holy Spirit is searching the depth of God to reveal that to you. Think about what God is offering to us? I will do for you; I want anyone to know about Me. There are certain things about you, pastor and you, sweet people that you don’t want anyone to know about you. There are things about us that are secret but God says, there’s nothing secret with Me; “I will share Myself with My people.” That’s incredible. I don’t want to share myself with anyone, but God says, “between Me and you, there is no secret; I want to reveal My fullness to you if you want it, I made the decision.” I want it and I want that.

God knows us and the bible says, He knows every thought. In Psalms 139:2, the scripture says, Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Can I tell you something, that’s how God wants us to know Him. Not to just know, He is God Almighty, God of Israel, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; if God knows my thoughts, He wants me to also know His thoughts, and that’s what Paul was crying for. Now this is so powerful because we are commanded in scripture in 1 Peter 1:15-16, But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. How, and how do I get there? What brings you to that place of being Holy is knowing Him. If I know Him, that holiness is going to be transferred on my life because I am going to be holy not by works or prayer but by knowing Him. Knowing Him will bring you to that place. And the bible has more to say, Hebrews 12:14, Follow peace with all [men], and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Do you want to see the Lord? Do you want to live a holy life? Get to know Him. Getting to know Him means it’s time to stop knowing other things and other people.

Four years ago, God told me to stop watching network television, and at home I have no cable or direct TV. I have none and I am giving myself to the WORD. I want to know this God. I want to know His thoughts, His desires and His heart because I am still on a journey and so are you! Here is the key in knowing Him, and there’s a scripture in Proverbs which says, A righteous man falling down before the wicked [is as] a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring [Proverbs 25:26]. Do you know what this is? It says, anyone who falls away, anyone who stops working with God, his path will become cloudy with sins because when the word of God is gone, darkness comes. Even when he says, I want to go back to God, he cannot see his way back. When a righteous man falls before the wicked he becomes a troubled fountain. That’s why today, the cry of God’s heart is found in 1 Corinthian 15:33, because God wants us for Himself, He says, Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. That word communication means company and friends. So what do we do? Verse 34, Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak [this] to your shame. So, if people don’t have the knowledge, if they don’t know Him, they will sin. If you don’t know Jesus, you will know sins but if you know Jesus, you won’t know sins. If you walk with Jesus you will not want to sin. When you walk with Jesus, you are walking in the light and darkness is behind you. So what are we to do? We need to obey 2 Corinthians 6:14-16. And here is the cry in 2 Corinthians 6:17, Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you. Touch not the unclean things of the world including television, books and magazines, be it friends. Verse 18, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. Which means, if I can do it, yes you can. Just say, Yes!

Prayer: Father, I pray right now in the name of Jesus, bring Your people into the knowledge of You. That they will know You. They will work with You. They will fellowship with You. They will know Your depth. They will know Your love and they will love You with the love they have never known; with the love that will purify them. Keep them as the apple of Your eye. Protect them from the world. Protect them from sin. Protect them from the enemy. Sanctify them for You, LORD. We want to know You more; I want to know You deep in My soul and that is our cry LORD. Jesus, wonderful Jesus, we give You the Praise. Lord God, enable us to know You deeper.
