Being recognized by God.

#Sunday Online Experience – Sept 20th

During the week, the Lord revealed to me something very powerful, and this is what the Lord told me, working with God; moving with God; living with God. Throughout history, saints, there are people who found themselves in the pages of the bible not because they were born on Sunday, but they did something that caused God to recognize them.

So let me use a subject, “Being recognized by God.” Everything we do as humans, we want to be recognized; either you are taking care of your children or blessing your lover or fighting your enemies. The reason why in this political season people are putting up posters is because they want to be recognized. They want to be seen. The world may not recognize you but they will notice you. On the other hand, God recognizes His people. Even in the book of Revelation, He says, He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God [Revelation 3:12]. In other words, God is looking, and He says, “I am looking for a man who can stand in the gap” [Ezekiel 22:30].

In the book of 2 kings, I want you to watch this; there was a king in Israel who suffered from a boil or a tumor and he was going to die. Prophet Isaiah, the one you know who always talks about, “He was wounded for our transgression” [Isaiah 53:5] was sent to see this king. 2 kings 20:20 reads as follows, And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? When you go to verse 1, he tells you how he got sick and how a prophet got involved to deliver to him a message that hey, “Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.” This prophet Isaiah who saw the glory of God goes to his king to deliver dooms day. So people of God, simply because someone had a good prophecy yesterday, does not mean that he has a good prophecy for you. He may be warning you; he may be telling you what he knows; he may be telling you what he has heard from other people, that with the sickness you have, you will not survive; he may come up and say, you are finished.

People always have their own opinions, but Hezekiah did something that nobody did. The bible says, Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying. Child of God, this is time for us to turn to the wall; the wall of atonement and intercession. You know the wall is where we hang stuff. A wall stands between you and the thief, a wall is a place of protection; so he turned to His protection. He turned to the strength of His protection. The strength of our protection is in God not what we have got. Your strength and my strength is in the Lord. So Hezekiah turned to the wall and these are the words he spoke in verse 3: I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done [that which is] good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. In other words, he atoned; he repented; he cried to God. He was standing on the foundation of knowing God; on the foundation of a testimony; I have done good for you, Lord; I have done something. When tough times come, the things you have done may be the only platform you can stand on to plead your case. So he pleaded his case before the Almighty God. Verse 4 is amazing, it says, And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying. Verse 5: Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.

People of God, we have a God who answers prayers. Listen to me very well: Isaiah never prayed for Hezekiah, he delivered a message of death. Because the man turned to the wall; the wall is where we hang our degrees, trophies, pictures, he turned and saw his life. He saw his memory lane. When he turned to the wall, he saw only good things, a perfect heart with no envy or malice, and he talked to God. There are certain things we do that will determine our pleading of the case tomorrow. God recognizes what you are doing. The Lord sees the little things you do unnoticed; when you help the poor, feed the hungry, when you are kind to your neighbor, when you lift up the children, support the people, intercede for the nation, the Lord is watching what you are doing. And when you turn to the wall when nobody says, “thank you”, there is a star put on your wall.

When no one is seeing you, recognizing you, saying thank you, Jehovah has put a star against your name. He knows the good things you do, and you should also have confidence that the things you have done, have not gone unnoticed. Somebody has seen them, and you are doing good things because you are building the kingdom of God. This man, Hezekiah, satan wanted him killed through a boil that affected him so that he might not do the things which he was supposed to do; that he may not be established, the very thing that redemption would require. Doing things for posterity and not for prosperity. Hezekiah never told God, I will build you a temple or a wall or a house; he said, “I have done good things.” And what are these good things he did? The bible says in verse 20: And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city

The city of Jerusalem ever since David was there, it had no water. Jerusalem is on a high hill, so to pull up water there, it required a lot of science, and they had no pullies to do it or mortars to push the water, but Hezekiah did it. And why did he bring water to the city? Two things; so that when the enemy attacks, they will have water. Water represents life, and that is the physical part. The other one is that more people were trading in Jerusalem. It was no longer the city of the king but for the people [Jews]. You know Jesus Christ had to die in Jerusalem, and note, water is a type of a spirit. Man is the one who brought water in the city by building a conduit through which water would come in. He not only built a pool but he also dug channels of water leading into the city.

When you go to the New Testament, the bible only talks about two pools, which means one of them was built by Hezekiah. And of these two pools, one is called Bethesda and then the pool of Siloam. Watch this child of God, I can literary say that Hezekiah built both of them, and we see great miracles were performed on these pools. On the pool of Siloam, Jesus said to the bind man to go and wash; And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing [John 9:7]. This man was born without eye balls, all he had were eye sockets. Where you and I have an eye was empty. There are people in this world who were born empty, they have no joy; they are empty on care, compassion, hope and inheritance. This man’s vision wasn’t there because that’s how he was born; something went wrong and it had to take Jesus back to the table of creation and he spat on the ground and molded eyes for this man and set them in his eye sockets. Jesus said to him to go and wash in the pool of Siloam. Jesus sent the blind man to the pool which this man, Hezekiah who was supposed to die built and the conduit that brought it water.

Hezekiah did something normally you don’t just have. He put in place something which Jesus would use, and that is what we call posterity. You do something for generations to come that through you the families of the earth shall be blessed. This was not only spoken to Abraham, but it’s a blessing to every believer; “through you ALL the families of the earth shall be blessed” [Genesis 12:3]. This man who was given a word to die realized that he had done certain things but there were things which he had not yet done, and if he didn’t do them, heaven would not have Jesus perform the miracle of creation.

The Jews had seen Jesus multiply fish, walk on water but they had never seen Him do the work of God. Jesus needed a pool of Siloam and Hezekiah built it and also brought water into it, such that if Jesus would come and the community doubted Him whether He was the son of God, He would be able to take them back to the table of creation and create eyes for this blind man. That which his papa and mama couldn’t give him; that which man’s genealogy couldn’t give him, Jesus of Nazareth did it for him.

God is waiting on you to do certain things that He will need tomorrow to prove that He is the only way. God is looking for the Hezekiah of this generation; you are not going to die even when people are expecting you to catch COVID-19, just turn to the wall. God is giving you ideas, and the reason He is giving you life is to build a conduit. We are not only building for prosperity, we are building for posterity. Verse 8 reads, The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged? There are those who have seen you, they have seen Africa begging, they have seen your family begging for survival, but thank God for Hezekiah. He who was meant to die, provided a pool and brought it to Jerusalem so that this man who was called a beggar, his destiny would change. People are about to say, is not this the one who used to sit there and beg? Others will say, no he is not the one. Do you know why Jesus spit on the ground and put eyes there, it was because man came from the dirst. I believe Jesus not only touched his eyes but also his face was made perfect. That’s why when they saw him, they asked? Is he the one or not? Something is about to happen to you. Those who knew you as a beggar and useless, they are about to be confused about your new appearance in the mighty name of Jesus. Why? Because the Hezekiah’s of this generation are ready to bring in the water and build the pool. You are about to stand and say, “I am he.”

In John 5:1-10, he talks about the pool of Bethesda. This pool had five porches and we are in year 5 of the revival, something good is about to happen to you. Because Hezekiah provided a conduit of water, Bethesda was created. When we provide water which is a spirit, when we provide the Holy Spirit to Kampala city then centers of miracles, signs and wonders will take place; places of reconciliation and rehabilitation will be created. This man had been in this place for 38 years, and that was an old pool. People sat there from the days of Hezekiah waiting for the angel of the Lord to come down and stir up the waters for the people to get there. None of the religious people went there to pray for the people, in fact they left their work for angels to do it for them. Child of God, never leave the work that God told you to do to the angels. You shouldn’t let the angels praise and worship God more than you can do it. You shouldn’t let angels fight when you can. You shouldn’t leave angels to feed your children when you can quit your job and take care of them. These high priests were just seated in their chairs, caring less yet there was a man seated in at the pool for 38years. Think about it, you were ordained to be a high priest and you leave after 10years, when the same man is in the same condition. How can you come into ministry and step in a village, the conditions of your church members and village stay the same? That is not our God and it’s an insult to Him.

People of God, we must create an atmosphere. We must build for posterity that this generation may know that there’s God. I now know why He started 77 Days of Glory, because there are children who never knew the power of God. There was a generation that never knew that God could save and deliver. There was a generation that knew that if you are sick, you go to Butabika or somewhere else. We didn’t know that God could raise the dead. Thank God for 77 D.O.Gs, people now know that there’s the power of God; people know that there’s the resurrection power of Jesus Christ and God can heal simultaneously. People now know that God can prosper them. People know that the Holy Spirit can transform a man. There is now a generation you cannot lie to, like the former kifeesi who are now preachers of the gospel; others are managers of farms; they are back to school; they are studying medicine and law; there is a chance to live. Therefore, I am calling upon the Hezekiahs’ of this generation, men and women who say that our nation is at the cross roads.

Jesus became an atonement for us but we need to pray, fast and turn to God. The people in the western world, they think that science can do everything and if so, what they are giving to the world, would be working by now. Why is it that the numbers are raising up again? Why is it that there are more deaths there than in Africa? Maybe they were laughing at our prayers, they used to mock our overnight prayers, saying that those are people who are used to pray and pray, they need to start working and working yet we prayed and prayed, and now God is working and working.

As I conclude get this: Hezekiah brought water in the city, and both pools are in the same gospel of John, Bethesda and Siloam. Of the two pools, which one do you want to build? The pool that delivered a man from bondage for 38years which is the transformation, healing and cancelling out the curses’ pool [called Bethesda], or the Siloam pool which I call creation, new nature and empowerment. Which pool are you going to build for the Lord?
