 2 Chronicles 7:13-14

We have been talking about the five weapons God gave us which are the promises of God, praise, worship, obedience and offering. We need to also understand that whatever that is happening today, it’s not new to God as stated in the book of 2 Chronicles 7:13. The drought, the locusts and this pestilence [of coronavirus] have all happened in our time however, verse 14 reveals to us the truth that, If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Beloved, the last time God came on earth was when darkness had filled it according to Genesis 1:2, and whenever He wants to come down on earth, He wants to confront the devil. When man sinned against God, Jesus came down and He defeated the devil, and today, as a nation we need God to come down and fight for us. The bible says, the promises of God are Yes and Amen [2 Corinthians 1:20], and the psalmist reminds us to stand on God’s promises. Get ready, for God Almighty is about to do something great in your lives and my life too, and I speak as a servant of God that this coronavirus will not destroy our economy. Psalms 23:4 tells us that even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil; For God is with us. I therefore send a hedge of protection over your home, husband, wife, children, our health workers and soldiers. Declare: I am standing on the promises of God that cannot fail. As we stand on the promises of God, we shall not only be secure, but we shall also prosper. The hand of God is not shortened that it cannot save us from this pandemic of coronavirus. Even that Ugandan who contracted the virus, we ask God to heal him and we curse coronavirus to die at the root. Our God is capable of saving His people’s lives.

The second weapon is Praise. We are a nation that needs to praise God; when we praise Him, power comes down. When we look at where God has brought us from, we must praise Him. In 1986, our GDP was five billions UGX but 30years later, our GDP is in trillions. We used to have HIV, wars in 1980’s but now we are at peace. Most of us never had cars, houses but now we have them; others you were young and now you have grown old, praise the Lord. King David said, I have been young, and [now] am old [Psalms 37:25]. We ought to praise God for the rain, peace and the joy He has given us. The devil can easily walk with his songs of death in you and cause you to mourn, that everyone will think that we are dead, but we ought to praise the Lord for He is worthy to be praised! He has been good to us. He has done marvelous things for us both in the good times and the bad times. He has been there for us [Psalms 139:14].

You see from praise, you go to Worship which is weapon three, and the glory of God is revealed. Between praise and worship, this is where prayer is found. I declare: God will protect and guide you. Praise allows you to open up to God, and worship helps you to receive from Him. You have to praise God intensely and worship Him passionately, and once you do that, prayer comes in and you begin to prophesy.

Weapon four is Obedience. We only obey authority and not the devil because the devil already lost. Jesus said, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me [Matthew 28:18]. We have three authorities; the authority in the word of God. The bible tells us to believe in the LORD our God, so shall we be established and to believe His prophets, so shall we prosper [2 Chronicles 20:20]. The authority of government because God has given Pharaoh and Caesar authority, and remember, every authority comes from God. The authority of the believer; the bible says, these signs shall follow those that believe [Mark 16:17]. For you to be happy in Jesus, you must TRUST and OBEY Him.

Weapon five is offering. An offering has power. The bible says, A man’s gift makes room for him [Proverbs 18:16]. A gift is an offering. Your life is an offering [Romans 12:1]. Today, no matter where you’re, you have to offer your life to Jesus and He will protect you. Offer yourself as a living sacrifice to God. This is time to cast our global soul winning net when people’s hearts are soft and are in their homes. These are days of heaven on earth.

Psalms 91

Friends, I am so excited to share the word of God with you that your faith may be encouraged during these tough times. Recently, the Holy Spirit inspired me to share with you the five weapons that you will use to overcome this coronavirus pandemic which included the promises of God, worship, praise, obedience and offering, and I want us to focus our study on the weapon; the promises of God.” We must understand the promises of God such that once we stand on them, our faith doesn’t waver.

The bible says, His promises are Yes and Amen [2 Corinthians 1:20], and they never fail. Psalms 91:7 says, A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; [But] it shall not come near you. These promises come in three ways; through the spoken word, the written word and the commands of God. For example, God gave us as a Nation His promise [inform of a prophecy] through Pr. Benny Hinn that there will be a mighty move of the Holy Spirit in the land of Uganda in 2022, and because of that promise, you cannot die now.

Through the written word, He promised to satisfy us with long life [Psalms 91:16] and through His commandments, He said that If we are willing and obedient we shall eat the good of the land [Isaiah 1:19]. He promised not to put on us the diseases He brought upon the Egyptians [Exodus 15:26]. The Psalmist said, the dead do not praise the LORD, nor any who go down into silence [Psalms 115:17]. People of God, these promises will get you from where you’re and take you where you’re supposed to be. The promises of God are one of the weapons you’re going to use to silence coronavirus, and what amazes me is that this weapon has got a song called standing on the promises of God.”

Say like you mean it: I HAVE A PROMISE.

The Promises of God

2 Chronicles 7:14

Beloved, our God is able to handle anything that comes our way. Say like you mean it: I believe in you Lord! Do you know what the Lord wants you to be? He says, let the poor say I am rich, let the weak say I am strong and let the sick say I am healed. In this period of time when coronavirus is almost everywhere, there are five weapons that you must use to overcome it and these are; the promises of God, praise, worship, obedience and offering. Obedience has three authorities; authority in the word of God, authority by the government and the believer’s authority. The scripture says, And these signs will follow those who believe [Mark 16:17].

How do you know that this coronavirus is a devil himself? The bible says in John 10:10, The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to steal, and to destroy… Child of God, we have to understand that we have been with God in tough times. Ebola and AIDS were wiping away people and deaths were everywhere but I stand to testify that there’s life in this land and God healed us. Say like you mean it: there’s a God Almighty who hears prayer and I am confident that He will answer me!

Under the promises of God, 2 Chronicles 7:11-14 reveals to us something very profound, and it amazes me that whatever God promised to do, East Africa has been a witness, right from the drought, to locusts and now to this coronavirus pandemic. East Africa saw a drought that lasted for six months, we saw our animals die because there was no grass to feed them but when we prayed for rain, God opened His tap in heaven and now we are experiencing rain. We really thank God that He helped us to go through it. We have a tendency of forgetting but the Hebrews don’t forget. Those locusts destroyed crops in Kenya, Yemen and Ethiopia, and when they entered Uganda through Karamoja, the wind of the Holy Ghost blew them out of the country to the border of Sudan and Kenya.

People of God, our greatest problem is that we don’t know how to give thanks; when drought was over, no one came with food to give thanks. We must understand the kind of God we have; the God of Abraham, the living God is our God. Australia experienced fire during their drought yet us, who had a terrible drought didn’t see any fire. The God who delivered us from drought, AIDS, Ebola and Locusts, is going to deliver us from this coronavirus.

Listen: Uganda must stand on the promises of God because they are “Yes and Amen.” We don’t have a factory that manufactures face masks but God has been good to Uganda. Beloved, the remedy to coronavirus isMy people.” Only God’s people can chase this coronavirus away and we are not going to permit it in Uganda. Let me ask; where are God’s people? Remember, God gave us His word through this COVID-19 pandemic, “of long life” [Psalms 91:16].

He said, if you see these three things happening to you, the antidote is “My people who are called by My name” [2 Chronicles 7:14]. Regardless of who you’re, whether a Muslim, witch or a Christian, we are all God’s people and we have the authority to burn the coronavirus. We are God’s people called by His name and we humble ourselves. Hear this: why does God tell people to humble themselves? Because it’s the humble that inherit the earth [Matt 5:5]. Ugandans, we are so arrogant that we forget where we came from. God said, If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land [2 Chronicles 7:14].

Tell the person next to you: I ask you to be humble. I want you to hear this: the Lord has now put the whole world at the same level. People are now denying their covenant brothers; nations are now denying their covenant partners. We forget too fast that if God wasn’t on our side, we would have been consumed. If we can humble ourselves and pray; prayer has power. Even those who are locked up in your homes, pray.

The five weapons of God: Psalms 91, part2

In such a time as this, when countries are locked down, economies are crushing, schools are closing and it’s like the whole world is coming to a standstill, the Spirit of the Lord inspired me to share with you these five weapons that will help you to overcome this current situation [of coronavirus]. The first weapon you are going to apply is standing on the PROMISES OF GOD. The bible tells us that His promises are Yes and Amen, and they don’t fail [2 Corinthians 1:20]. The bible says, Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away [Matthew 24:35]. This coronavirus may reap away the heaven and earth, but you’re about to enjoy the promises of God.

One of the promises God has given to us is found in Psalms 91:7, and it says, A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; [But] it shall not come near you. The promises of God come in three ways; the spoken word, the written word and the commands of the Lord. Another promise God has given to us says, With long life He will satisfy us in Psalms 91:16, and by that promise, you’re not going to die. Say like you mean it: I have the promise of God.

He is not going to put on you the diseases He brought upon the Egyptians and that is also a promise in Exodus 15:26. God also gave us a prophecy for seven years regarding this revival and for that reason, you are not going to die. The Psalmist said, The dead do not praise the LORD, Nor any who go down into silence, because God looks for someone to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. This is also a promise [Psalms 115:17].

Weapon number two is PRAISE. Praise is when you lift God higher than anything else. When praise goes up, power comes down. You praise God with your hands, mind, heart, mouth and everything within you. The scripture says, Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD [Psalms 150:6]. Praise has a twin brother called WORSHIP which is weapon number three. Worship is when you talk about God, His Majesty and everything you say is about Him. It’s a moment of complete SURRENDER of oneself to God. God is looking for people who can worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, and what I discovered is that the Spirit is the ONE which brings Truth.

The fourth weapon is OBEDIENCE. The bible says obedience is better than sacrifice [1 Samuel 15:22]. God uses three authorities in obedience and these are; authority in His word, the authority of government and the authority of the believers. Remember, all authority comes from God [Romans 13:1]. The children of Israel suffered snake bites because of their disobedience. People always perish because they are disobedient. These authorities are very important because they constitute life. With obedience, you can eat the good of the land as stated in Isaiah 1:19.

The last weapon is OFFERING. Your offering is what is going to keep your job and it will also change everything around you. Every time Israel was in trouble, God demanded an offering from them. An offering is a weapon and those who have used it faithfully have defeated the enemy. When God gave us His only Son as an offering, He defeated the devil once and for all time. People of God, those who have understood the power of offering have changed their destinies and those of their countries.

As I conclude: the most amazing thing about these five weapons is that each one has got a song!

The five weapons of God: Psalms 91

Saints, the Lord has His hand over this nation; whether coronavirus or not, the fire of the Holy Ghost is burning in this nation and I am confident about that. You have a mark of God on you and you’re not going to die because this coronavirus didn’t come for you. God is fighting for you and pushing back the darkness [of coronavirus].

In times like this, it’s your praise that can deliver you. In the times of Gideon, their praise delivered them and God placed a hedge of protection around them. Therefore, allow me to take you through the five weapons that God gave me which will help you in this period of time.

The first weapon is the promises of God. The bible says, Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away [Matthew 24:35]. This coronavirus may reap away the heaven and earth but child of God, you are about to enjoy the promises of God. The bible says in Psalms 91:7 that, A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; [But] it shall not come near you.

Promises come in three ways; the spoken word, the written word and the commands of the Lord. The promise will get you from where you’re and take you where you’re supposed to be. Declare: I am standing on the promises of God. The Psalmist said, God’s promises never fail. The promise says, with long life He will satisfy us, and by this promise, you’re not going to die [Psalms 91:16; 118:17].

Hear this: last year [2019], Pr. Benny was in Ghana and gave a prophecy that a mighty move of the Holy Spirit shall come out of Uganda, and because of that promise [prophecy] you are not going to die. Declare: I have the anointing and this coronavirus won’t come near me. Say like you mean it: I have a promise. Another promise God gave us, The dead praise do not praise Him, Nor any who go down into silence [Psalms 115:17], because He looks for someone who can Praise Him in Spirit and in Truth. Remember, The promises of God are Yes and Amen [2 Corinthians 1:20], and because of those promises, we are going to prosper. The promises of God are one of the weapons you’re going to use, and they have a song, “standing on the promises of God.”

The second weapon is Praise. You praise God with your testimony, your mind, hands, heart, and everything within you, and it has also got a song, “Praise Him.” Weapon three is a twin to Praise and it’s called Worship. What is worship? It is when you talk about God; everything you say is about Him; you surrender everything to Him, and this weapon has two songs, I surrender all and amazing grace.”

Obedience is the fourth weapon and the scripture states, Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice [1 Samuel 15:22]. God uses three authorities in obedience, and these are; authority in His word, the authority of government and the authority of the believers.

The shadow of the Almighty: Psalms 91

I want you to look at Psalms 91. It reveals to us something very powerful; He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under ‘the shadow of the Almighty. People of God, I have never seen what I am seeing today; this coronavirus has crushed economies, aircrafts have been grounded, stocks are crushing, and the world was never prepared for this. King David said, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You [are] with me [Psalms 23:4]. Child of God, you are about to shift from the shadow of death to the shadow of the Almighty. Whenever we sin, we shift ourselves to the shadow of death but once we repent, we go back to the shadow of life which is the shadow of the Almighty. The shadow of the Almighty is what protected Job when the devil attacked him.

Let me preach to the whole world: coronavirus will not touch you, not even your family members, for God is not a liar. I prophesy: you shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. The dead do not praise the LORD, nor any who go down into silence. The bible says, the Lord lives in the praises of His people; He is our refuge and our fortress, in Him we will trust; when we had drought, we prayed and He opened the tap of rain in heaven; when locusts invaded us [Uganda], we prayed and the wind blew them out of Uganda. Someone PRAISE the Lord! Listen: this coronavirus has made alot of noise but God says, He will protect you from it, and He shall cover you with His feathers.

Listen to this: under God’s wings you shall take refuge. There is a terror that comes by night and arrows that fly by day like these arrows of coronavirus that have brought fear to people to the extent that they are nolonger even scared of Ebola and AIDS. This is the time to reach out to them and preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ because they are home watching Televisions. Say like you mean it: Lord, preserve me so that the gospel may be preached. Because the world is full of fear and they have shut everything, therefore, they have to see a certain group of people that are happy and praising God.

The reason why the whole world is scared is because they don’t know God. The scripture says, they that know their God shall be strong, and do exploits [Daniel 11:32]. This is not time to look at people but the time to focus on God who is the finisher of our faith. If Jesus can take away the sins of the world, He is able to take away coronavirus. In the name of Jesus, I cast coronavirus out of Uganda. Let me prophesy: you’re about to see the wealth of the wicked coming to you. I declare: from today, Uganda is the habitation of God because He inhabits the praises of His people. Saints, the greatest battle ever won by Israel was the battle of praise. We may not have the best technology as a country or continent but we are going to use the weapons of our warfare that are not canal but mighty to pull down every stronghold.

Uganda needs God. Listen to me: once you are in the presence of God, the devil cannot come near you. Brethren, this is the time when people will look at you and will see a hedge of protection around you that even diseases shall not come near you. I prophesy, even when you come closer to coronavirus, the angels of the Lord shall carry you and you will not contract it. Because you have loved God, I decree and declare, He will deliver you, He will honor you and He will answer your prayers. Declare: Lord, I love you. For God so loved the world that He gave us His only Son; you can’t love without giving; you must give your life to God.

As I conclude: God ends Psalms 91 with a promise; to satisfy us with long life because we have loved Him.

What you should do to possess your land

Previously, I shared with you several things that hinder people from possessing their land; procrastination, fear to ask the cost of land, looking in wrong places, forgetting and blaming the dead. Today I want us to look at some of the solutions to the above challenges and what you ought to do in order to possess the land.

The first thing you must do is to activate the covenant. Don’t procrastinate (delay). Isaac activated the marital covenant and got the land [Genesis 26:8]. When there was famine in Egypt, the Egyptians came to Joseph asking him to buy them with their land and Joseph reveals areas to use the land for [Genesis 47:19]. Land is there to preserve you from dying. Beloved, if you don’t know how to use your land, you are as good as dead. Your land is living, and is capable of producing things for you. Every piece of land you’re looking at is alive and living. You are capable of bringing forth something on the land. When God was giving the children of Israel land, it was alive. People of God, kick in the covenant because it has better lenses for what you’re looking for. In Genesis 3, something happened after the fall of man. God told Adam, “Cursed [is] the ground for your sake” [Genesis 3:17]. Therefore, it’s you to bless and give life to the land. Proverbs 10:22 reads, the blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. When God blesses you with land, it has no sorrow because His seven spirits are with you [Revelation 5:12]. These seven spirits help you to remove the sorrow from that land. That’s why you need the covenant because it’s in the atonement. You overcome procrastination by invoking the covenant of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Remember we have two covenants; the Abrahamic covenant which was sealed by the blood of Abraham and the Messianic covenant which was sealed by the blood of Jesus. Isaac was a married man. He touched the marriage covenant and he got the land, and to you who is single, you must activate the covenant of a witness [Acts 1:8].

The second thing you have to do is to work the system. You pray and look around for land. See what others with land are doing on their land. In Genesis 12, the LORD promised Abraham to show him the land. In chapter 13, Abraham built an altar, and the LORD told him to walk the land; “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are – northward, southward, eastward and westward.” In other words, make the cross [Genesis 13:14]. The bible says, wherever you set your foot, that land will be yours [Deut 11:24 NLT]. Once you work the system, sometimes people will have to leave you. Lot left Abraham [Genesis 13:9-11]. Exodus 18:20 reads, And you shall teach them the statutes and the laws, and show them the way in which they must walk and the work they must do. The third thing is to walk God. Most people walk with God instead of walking Him. It’s time to walk God. The fourth thing you must do is to draw your plans. If you’re going to get land, you must draw plans. What do you want to do on that land? Your biggest tablet lays between your heart and mind. And it’s very important for you to be converted. That’s why Psalms 19:7 says, The law of the LORD [is] perfect, converting the soul; When you convert your soul, things begin to work well. Once your soul is converted, you begin to see things you have never seen before. Jesus said to Peter, satan has asked for you, that he may sift [you] as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; “and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren” [Luke 22:31-32].

Cain killed his brother and he became a vagabond. The ground that had given him fruit had now swallowed the blood of his brother. Cain cursed the land that gave him fruit. The scripture says, the blood of Abel still speaks [Hebrews 12:24]. Whatever you put in the ground comes back. Even the dead shall be raised first [1 Corinthians 15:52]. What happened to Cain? He left the land that had been cursed after repenting to God, and went to the land of Nod where he knew his wife and gave birth to Enoch and built a city [Genesis 4: 10-17]. May the Lord mark you as a landlord in these 90days. He is a builder and He promised to build you a house. May God build you into a temple of the Holy Spirit. However, construction requires patience and patience takes time. Jesus is also building mansions. He told us to pray that what is done in heaven may be done on earth; you will build your own house in Jesus’ name. If a murderer Cain whom God had marked, built a city in the Land of Nod, you’re not going to die without first building something that people will see.

The fifth thing you must do is to follow the right trend. When the children of Israel left Egypt, the land in the desert couldn’t permit them to build houses like those they had in Egypt. They instead constructed tents. Use things that will permit you to move as fast as possible. Don’t buy more expensive things in your rented house than what you will put in your built house. The Hebrews couldn’t build what they desired in a strange land because they had where they were going. Don’t spend money on things that will be broken when you’re shifting from one place to another. In the midst of moving to your permanent house, there’s tent living. The sixth thing you need to do is to remember. You came with nothing in this world and you will go with nothing. Remember the Lord God [Deut 8:18]. Remembrance is what God required from the Hebrews. Jesus said, do this in remembrance of me [1 Corinthians 11:24-25]. The thief at the cross asked Jesus to remember him [Luke 23:42]. Lastly, learn how to declare. Start declaring that you’re a child of God. Trust in Him and He will fight for you. We have seen how Americans, Arabs and Ugandans fight but now, we are going to see how God fights for those whose land was stolen. This day the Lord has begotten you and he will give you nations for your inheritance [Psalms 2:1-8].
