We are still studying about honour, one of the seven spirits of God that were released on earth after Jesus was slain according to Revelation 5:12. It’s very important to understand that when you come to number 5, you get to honour. Honour means high respect. It’s the quality of knowing with regard to great respect. Honour means high esteem. Honour and honor are the same though one is British English and the other is American. God expects us to honour Him. Honour is giving or offering [Psalms 50:23]. You cannot honour God with empty words [Isaiah 29:13]. Honour belongs to God. We honour God with our first fruits [Proverbs 3:9]. We honour Him with our substances of thanksgiving. That is why David said, I will enter into His gates with thanksgiving, [and] into his courts with praise [Psalms 100:4].

Revelation 4 reveals that all living creatures including you and I have to honour God. Once we give God our future, mind, sacrifice, we honour Him and make Him to be number one in our lives, all the elders in heaven will bow down and worship Him. When we honour God, the glory and power come down. When we honour God with our substances, heaven begins to worship Him. Through honouring God, we become a standard that whatever thing we decree is established, and whatever we bind on earth is bound in heaven. Once you honour God, heaven joins you. You’re the key and standard to take praise to another level. The moment those beasts or living creatures in verse 9 [of Revelation 4] began to honour God, also the 24 elders bowed down. You might have few words that are not enough to express your love for God, but once you honour Him, you trigger the praise because He is looking for people who can worship Him in spirit and in truth [John 4:23]. Once we do something that targets heaven, it will give back what is there [Revelation 4:9-11]. Do you know what can happen to your family once you honour God? Many people ask me about the will of God for their lives? His will for your life is here, “honour Him.” God created us in His image and He wants you and I to honour Him. He created all things to enjoy. You hold the key that will change this nation. That key is to honour God and give Him His glory. Once we honour Him with our substances, minds, bodies, then we get the keys to the kingdom that whatever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven. Ezekiel 33:31 talks about love of the lips. Let the world know that you love God. Honour Him among your fellow students, workmates, friends and relatives.

I want to show you one key that saved the children of Israel when God was about to destroy them. One young man turned the key of a curse into a blessing [Numbers 25:10-13]. He was a grandson of Aaron and his name is Phinehas. We all know what Aaron did; he made a golden calf and the children of Israel started to worship it which stirred God’s anger. God chose Aaron because Moses interceded. Aaron gave birth to Eleazar who also gave birth to Phinehas. In verse 12 & 13, we see God giving Phinehas His covenant of peace and even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood. Child of God, you are the key to turn things around. You’re the key to transform your family and generation. You’re the hope of our future. You’re the savior of your family. You’re the Generation that God is depending on. You’re the chosen one to stand in the gap where others have failed because you have the zeal for God. God is looking for a Phinehas in this generation. Zacharias the husband of Elizabeth was from that lineage of Phinehas. Are you among the tens of thousands of people who are going to be zealous for our God? I pray that you will have more love for God in your heart to deliver Africa.

Listen: honouring God will cause the world to remember you. From today, purpose in your heart to honour God in your body. Clean it every day because it is the temple of the Holy Spirit [1 Corinthians 6:19]. Phinehas had a covenant of peace. Salvation is a covenant. Serving God is a covenant that is why you must present your body as a living sacrifice [Romans 12:1]. The life of Christ is in our bodies [2 Corinthians 4:10-11]. When God glorifies you, your sons and daughters [also the spiritual ones] will bring silver and gold to honour Him [Isaiah 60:9]. When you help the poor, you’re honouring God [Proverbs 14:31, James 1:27].

As I conclude: Malachi 2:2 says, If you will not hear, And if you will not take [it] to heart, To give glory to My name, Says the LORD of hosts, I will send a curse upon you, And I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have cursed them already, Because you do not take [it] to heart. Rich people who don’t honour God, fifteen years later, you find them poor. Matthew 13:57 reads, So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.” Familiarity, and in that place Jesus did little miracles. Honour and loyalty must be rewarded. When you honour God, He honours you too but if you despise Him, you shall be lightly esteemed [1 Samuel 2:30]. You’re the key to transform your family and generation. All the mass weddings, mass crusades, mass baptisms we did, were honouring God. Are you going to honour God? Beloved, whatever you’re going through shall come to an end. You were born to honour God. Let’s honour Him!

We are looking at honour, the fifth spirit of God which was released on earth according to Revelation 5:12, and we want to take our study on Jabez. The bible says, And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow [1 Chronicles 4:9]. We all know that children come from God, and that God knew each one of us before we were formed in the womb[s] of our mothers [Jeremiah 1:5]. God knew you before the world knew you. Mama Jabez’s struggle to bring forth this child prompted her to name him Jabez because she believed he was a child of sorrow. You may be going through sorrow but you are not a child of sorrow; you are a child of God!

Say to yourself: I am not a child of sorrow, I am not a child of COVID-19 but I am a child of God. So, when you become honourable, you are a child of God. Listen to me parents: do not curse your child! Isaiah 8:18 says, Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me [are] for signs and for wonders… Your child is not just a miracle but for signs and wonders. May God turn you and your children to be signs and wonders. I prophesy, your children will go to the United States of America and people will look at them and WONDER just as it happened to the children of Israel when they were taken as captives to Babylon [Daniel 1:4].

Proverbs 3:9 reads, Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase. Solomon honoured God and God honoured him too. May God honour you today, may He use your children for signs. If I am a Pastor and I produce a thief then the Gospel is not being preached. Listen to this: in the Old Testament, it was always the mothers who named their children. In the New Testament, God in heaven named His son because He couldn’t trust the mothers. He said, name my Son JESUS [Luke 1:31]. He even named John the baptist [Luke 1:13]. Mothers do not allow people to just name your child any name. Eve named her son Cain, meaning mankind [Genesis 4:1]. Moses’ mother didn’t name him but Pharaoh’s daughter did and the whole of Egypt knew Moses [Exodus 2:10]. That is why dedication is very important. We don’t baptize babies but we do dedicate them. You can never stop dedicating your life to God even when you are grown up because you have to fight a good fight of faith. You think that being a child of God is sitting around, NO, you have to fight a good fight [1 Timothy 6:12].

Psalms 127:3-5 reads, Behold, children [are] a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb [is] a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So [are] the children of one’s youth. Happy [is] the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate. This is why God wants your children to be honourable. Proclaim Psalms 127 to your children. I pray that God will give you children, and if you can’t have any, just be like mother Teresa. She did not have children but she moved around Asia and showed love to the hungry. Even when Abraham had no child yet, he had young men in his house. People of God, we need to honour our God, and that is what we are doing in the bucket project. Find somewhere to raise your child; be the mother that you can be to raise them because you never know what they will become.

As I conclude:  the words you speak may be few but they may change the world. Jesus said few words when He was dying, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do” [Luke 23:34]. He said so because He was an honourable man. If you are honourable, you don’t have to say so many words. George Floyd just said a few words, “I can’t breathe” but it has spread all over the world. This was an honourable man. Those who are despising your children by denying them scholarships, God is going to make your children honourable. Jabez prayed and God made him honourable. I pray in the name of Jesus that God will make His church honourable. Do not deny people their opportunities because when God decides, you will be one of the bricks. To honour God is the baptism of the Holy Spirit. You are not a child of sorrow but a child of God.

1 Chronicles 4:9-10

We have been studying about Strength, one of the seven spirits of God according to Revelation 5 but before I introduce the fifth spirit called Honour, Psalms 27:1 says, The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Child of God, where is your strength? Where is the strength of a nation? You must understand this; everything that comes from Jehovah is from above [Horizontal] and He chooses a place. The journey of a man is vertical which makes a cross. Therefore, the strength of a nation is in its economy.

Listen to this: the honour of God will bring two things. Spiritually, it will bring a surge in an economy which is revealed in currency and character. Currency is money and money brings peace. When the angel appeared to Mary, he said “…And on earth peace” [Luke 2:14]. The three kings brought money to keep peace on earth [Matthew 2:11]. Our currency as believers is not of this world. God will always give you a currency and character if you are to operate a big and strong economy. Currency is your strength and it’s your flow. I told you that any economy based on biblical economics stands on currency (which is the purchasing power) and character. When people don’t have character they will distort the economy.

Get this: You need currency and character because that’s the strength of the economy, not corruption and consumers. Character will attract blessings and currency will attract investments. Corruption and consumers attract a curse. The bible says, He gives seed to the sower and bread for food [2 Corinthians 9:10]. When you have corruption, you end up with bread, but if you have character and currency, you end up with seed. Where there’s seed, you create fields but where there’s a lot of bread, you end up with latrines and toilets. With a seed, you will have different fields of professionals. Beloved, God gives a seed and not a crop, and that’s why you will have a field of professionals. What you produce or what comes out of you, that’s your strength. With character, this is where you produce people in their fields. Once you’re not in your field that reveals corruption. What happens when you are living in the same field? Who will buy from you? In every currency, there are denominations. The word denomination has a denominator, nomination and nation. Which nation are you? Currencies are for nations. A denomination of one country cannot work in another country unless it is converted. Every economy carries character and currency with different denominations, which denomination are you? Therefore, you need to be on the side of the economy.

People of God, honour is the fifth spirit of God according to Revelation 5, and the bible says Jabez was MORE honourable than his brothers [1 Chronicles 4:9]. His brothers were honourable but he was MORE honourable. His mother calls him Jabez because of sorrow. May be it was because of poverty or illness, pandemic and she decided to call him that. The bible says in Isaiah 8:18, Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me [are] for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion. The children whom God has given you are for signs and wonders. The child that God has given you, you shouldn’t abort or kill them, they are for signs and wonders. We are here because of our parents. Mary always interjected Jesus’ ministry but He always called her woman. It was until Jesus was at the cross that He reveal His mother, “[Dear] woman, See, [here is] your son!” and to the son, “See, [here is] your mother,” in other words, son strengthen your mother [John 19:26-27]. The bible says, your children will confront the enemy at the gate [Psalms 127:5]. Your children will tell the enemy that you’re trespassing. Luke 10:19 says, Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Get ready, power has been given to you because you are a child of God. Say like you mean it: I am a child of God.

Jabez’s mother never knew that her child was for a sign and a wonder. 1 Chronicles 4:10 says, And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep [me] from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested. The other people who prayed that kind of prayer and God answered quickly were Moses, Elijah, David, Jesus and the NEXT person whom God is gonna answer is YOU because you are of signs and wonders.

As I conclude: to confront sorrow, you need a blessing, enlargement, power, glory and salvation. And God granted him what he requested. Sorrow cannot stand those five. I prophesy, the anointing of the five is coming upon you. So, how do you become a sign? When you who is reflecting the glory of God understand the power to the source of your life, and you say, I love you Lord! You need the world to gaze back to God. You’re the moon and Jesus is the sun. Therefore, Jesus must shine in you so that the world may see. You must let God create wonders in you. The wonders and the glory that are revealed is what we call Honour. We honour God with our first fruits [Proverbs 3:9]. And tonight, we look at Him the author and finisher of our faith [Hebrews 12:2].

Ecclesiastes 3

In order for us to be able to possess or purchase our land, it’s very important that we understand the times and seasons we are in. Times and seasons reflect strength, one of the seven spirits of God [Revelation 5:12]. We learnt that strength hinges on the cross at the horizontal beam. Therefore, time is revealed at the vertical beam of the cross which hinges purpose and assignment. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, To everything [there is] a season, A time for every purpose under heaven.

The book of Ecclesiastes chapter 3 reveals to us seasons and times. Child of God, it’s very important that you understand your strength. What is your strength as an individual? Before you get into that marriage or join that corporate organization, do you know your strength? Time is to purpose as season is to everything, and remember, all things work together for your good [Romans 8:28]. There’s a time to pray, a time to receive, a time to do a thing and a time to believe. Everything needs a season, and time needs a purpose. Everything you have or want to have, there’s a season for it. There’s a season to buy land. There’s a season when things will work for you and when money will come to you.

Ecclesiastes 3:2-4 reads, A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up [that which is] planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance. Time is for a purpose, that is why things are happening, and season is what causes them to happen. It’s like when you procrastinate to buy land today that costs one million shilling, when time passes, you will buy it at UGX 10millions.

When the season is closer to your time or when your time overlaps your season, that’s when deals are made. When things are darker, the economy is down, that is the best time to strike deals. Listen to this: the sun brings us time and the moon brings us seasons. Once the moon begins to overlap the sun, that is called an eclipse. The eclipse doesn’t happen every time but when it occurs, you will have to use lenses because it could be your season to walk into your destiny. Never use your eyes to look at the eclipse; you need support; you need glasses/ lenses of faith, hope, wisdom and renewal. It’s time to put on glasses of faith and hope because that’s your strength. If those two [faith and hope] don’t work, you put on another lens called wisdom. You also need to get lenses called renewing your strength. If you are in a situation and your faith is not working, people are calling you too young or too old to build a beautiful house, drive a fancy car, then you need to renew your faith. Isaiah 40:31 says, But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength.

Many people will always say, wait for your time but when your season comes for you to get land, house, car or immigration papers, it means that the season has overlapped the time. You could be in a season of buying land but when the time is not favorable, you don’t have the money. When a season overtakes your time, you get a beautiful eclipse. What you are doing right now is very important because it will help you to understand the times and seasons. When things are darker, that’s when you need to inquire about things that you would like to buy.

In order for you to understand time and seasons, you will have this use the power to choose. Choosing is never loosing. Jesus said, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain” [John 15:16]. Jesus used those words in the presence of Judas. Many people hate Judas yet Jesus needed a Judas in his life for the redemption to happen. Remember, God makes everything beautiful in His time [Ecclesiastes 3:11]. When people are seeing darkness, you must see beauty. In this time when people are seeing darkness, you must look for land and buy it. Allow your season to overtake your purpose. Choose today whom you will follow; choose life and not death [Deut 30:19].

People always buy unnecessary things because time pressurizes them. Seasons allow you to have time to succeed. To those going through tough times, let your season overlap the time, and know that the Lord is God. May the season of God’s blessing overtake your time of loss and not working. When the season overtakes your time, you will get your land. Remember, you must choose. Choosing is never loosing; poverty is a choice likewise wealth.

Another thing that you need to understand is; you must seed or paint your future. When you are told that the house will cost you UGX150m, find alternative ways of doing it (paint it). Don’t just receive the bill from the builders, find the unit cost per item. Don’t allow people to paint you in a corner. People always think that seed is only money, NO…go out there and see people’s houses. Find out how much it cost them. Isaac sowed in the land and painted his seed that he reaped a hundredfold [Genesis 26:12]. When you seed and paint it, you get a hundredfold.

Numbers 21:9

As we have been praying for the whole world and you, the Holy Spirit led me to the book of Numbers 21:9 which reads, So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived. The children of Israel had sinned against God by murmuring and snakes bit most of them. What amazes me is that God told Moses to make a bronze serpent and whoever looked at it, lived. Child of God, serpents produce serpents. God told Moses to design a bronze serpent and raise it up for anyone who can see it to get cure. In those days, whenever a serpent bit you, there was no cure just like this coronavirus that has no cure.

We have to raise our bronze serpent through our faith, giving, reading the word and praying. The devil has already lost it, he thought the preachers of the gospel will not survive when he closed the churches, but I am here to inform him that we are now raising the standard; we are taking over the air waves. Child of God, I see a turnaround in Africa, America, China, Canada, Sydney, Italy, United Kingdom…, and no matter what the devil has done, God is turning it around. Get ready saints, you’re going to see what God is about to do in your lives.

God told Moses to get Him a bronze; may be Moses never had the bronze and he had to get it from the people. Beloved, whenever God wants to do something, He will ask you for something. That’s why the bible tells us to look unto Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith [Hebrews 12:2].

We are a country that needs to thank God; He has helped us through Ebola, AIDS, drought, locusts and I have confidence in Him that He is going to help us in this coronavirus pandemic. It’s amazing that whenever there is a crisis, God will ask you for something; when you want to get out of poverty, He will ask you for a tithe [Malachi 3:10]. Child of God, you’re going to be the one to raise a standard in your family. The devil thought that he was going to kill you but he will be amazed when you’re still alive, and if he [the devil] sends us deadly viruses, God will send us His Holy Spirit.

As I conclude: 2 Chronicles 7:14 reads, If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. God has already raised a standard against this coronavirus and it will soon be no more. He has already given us five weapons to defeat coronavirus and these are; the promises of God, praise, worship, obedience and offering. Child of God, we must resist this coronavirus.

 2 Chronicles 7:13-14

We have been talking about the five weapons God gave us which are the promises of God, praise, worship, obedience and offering. We need to also understand that whatever that is happening today, it’s not new to God as stated in the book of 2 Chronicles 7:13. The drought, the locusts and this pestilence [of coronavirus] have all happened in our time however, verse 14 reveals to us the truth that, If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Beloved, the last time God came on earth was when darkness had filled it according to Genesis 1:2, and whenever He wants to come down on earth, He wants to confront the devil. When man sinned against God, Jesus came down and He defeated the devil, and today, as a nation we need God to come down and fight for us. The bible says, the promises of God are Yes and Amen [2 Corinthians 1:20], and the psalmist reminds us to stand on God’s promises. Get ready, for God Almighty is about to do something great in your lives and my life too, and I speak as a servant of God that this coronavirus will not destroy our economy. Psalms 23:4 tells us that even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil;For God is with us. I therefore send a hedge of protection over your home, husband, wife, children, our health workers and soldiers. Declare: I am standing on the promises of God that cannot fail. As we stand on the promises of God, we shall not only be secure, but we shall also prosper. The hand of God is not shortened that it cannot save us from this pandemic of coronavirus. Even that Ugandan who contracted the virus, we ask God to heal him and we curse coronavirus to die at the root. Our God is capable of saving His people’s lives.

The second weapon is Praise. We are a nation that needs to praise God; when we praise Him, power comes down. When we look at where God has brought us from, we must praise Him. In 1986, our GDP was five billions UGX but 30years later, our GDP is in trillions. We used to have HIV, wars in 1980’s but now we are at peace. Most of us never had cars, houses but now we have them; others you were young and now you have grown old, praise the Lord. King David said, I have been young, and [now] am old [Psalms 37:25]. We ought to praise God for the rain, peace and the joy He has given us. The devil can easily walk with his songs of death in you and cause you to mourn, that everyone will think that we are dead, but we ought to praise the Lord for He is worthy to be praised! He has been good to us. He has done marvelous things for us both in the good times and the bad times. He has been there for us [Psalms 139:14].

You see from praise, you go to Worship which is weapon three, and the glory of God is revealed. Between praise and worship, this is where prayer is found. I declare: God will protect and guide you. Praise allows you to open up to God, and worship helps you to receive from Him. You have to praise God intensely and worship Him passionately, and once you do that, prayer comes in and you begin to prophesy.

Weapon four is Obedience. We only obey authority and not the devil because the devil already lost. Jesus said, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me [Matthew 28:18]. We have three authorities; the authority in the word of God. The bible tells us to believe in the LORD our God, so shall we be established and to believe His prophets, so shall we prosper [2 Chronicles 20:20]. The authority of government because God has given Pharaoh and Caesar authority, and remember, every authority comes from God. The authority of the believer; the bible says, these signs shall follow those that believe [Mark 16:17]. For you to be happy in Jesus, you must TRUST and OBEY Him.

Weapon five is offering. An offering has power. The bible says, A man’s gift makes room for him [Proverbs 18:16]. A gift is an offering. Your life is an offering [Romans 12:1]. Today, no matter where you’re, you have to offer your life to Jesus and He will protect you. Offer yourself as a living sacrifice to God. This is time to cast our global soul winning net when people’s hearts are soft and are in their homes. These are days of heaven on earth.
