Turning defeat into victory [1]

2 Kings 24:13 talks about Nebuchadnezzar, and it says, “And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD, as the LORD had said.” Verse 14: And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, [even] ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land. He carried every one and left the poorest, because if you’re poor in Jerusalem, you may not be necessary anywhere else. Daniel 3:27-28, “And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them. [Then] Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed [be] the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word,”… The king’s word is changeable! “…and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.” Verse 30, Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.

I want to talk to you about turning defeat into victory. Not all the things we get are from victory to victory. There are times when we get victory from defeat. When it looked like a defeat, that moment they picked up a victory. The bible says, God calls light out of darkness, which means as dark as it is, you can actually arrange your light in darkness. In the passage I just read, it says, Nebuchadnezzar came and captured Jerusalem. In those times when they went for war, it was not nation to nation that fought, but it was god to God that fought. So people would connect to their god [God] with everything they gave to them or provided whether their children, livestock, gold and many others. So, when they went to battle, they would carry such things that the god [God] who wins against the other, collects all. And in this case, the God of Israel and the Israelites were captured in Jerusalem, and that capture was a confirmation that they were defeated. That capture was a confirmation that the enemy had devoured against the God of Israel and against the people of Israel. What did Nebuchadnezzar do? He collected all the powerful people and gathered them in Babylon. When he took them to Babylon, he did not take them alone, he took also all the vessels of the LORD; all the golden vessels he had captured, he went with them. Therefore, when they were in Babylon, it was a confirmation that the God of Israel was defeated. It was a confirmation that the God of Israel could not protect His people. When people are in a crisis, they must be able to turn their defeat into victory. I prophesy to someone, from the waste of your life today, you’re about to bring out a shocking testimony. If your Amen is louder, May God do it for your life!

Look at this: the big and powerful are under captivity and the least that were left were the poorest people. In other words, the poor who were left were told, “you are not necessary in our kingdom.” Which means, if you are poor in Jerusalem, you cannot be successful anywhere else. So they captured them as a confirmation that their God is WEAK and POWERLESS. When people see you going through a lot, they start to attack the name of Jehovah; if your God was able to do this, why are you in that condition? If your God was powerful, why do you go through that? But I came to tell you that in the midst of the “why’s” they are telling you, you’re about to generate a shocking testimony of your life time.

Now they are in Babylon as captives, and in the time they were there, even a king could change their names to show them that he owned them. He changed their names to confirm that he has ownership, and when he gave them the names, he put those that honour his god, that exalt his god such that the chances of your coming back become smaller, because when you’re in the city of Jerusalem, it’s a city where the eyes of the LORD watch from the beginning to the end. It’s where you hear the voices that worship the names of God. They took you from Jerusalem to Babylon and planted demonic names on you such that no hope for your rising, I have sad news for the devil, when all has been done, something shocking is about to happen to you. In those captives is where Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were included among the defeated ones. There comes a time in life when you are included among the defeated ones. Today, I am encouraging someone not to give up in your darkest hour, because your greatest promotion will come into your darkest hour. In this darkest hour were coronavirus is destroying lives, you’re about to have your best moments with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Before they were attacked in Jerusalem, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were not known, but take them to Babylon, you’re are about to advertise them. In Jerusalem, Shadrach was an ordinary man yet he worshipped a true living God. Meshach was an ordinary man yet he worshipped the God of Israel, but move them to Babylon, you’re about to see a new generation rising. There are people, you couldn’t buy a house when coronavirus was not there, you could not drive a car, get a job but I came to prophesy, in your darkest hour and moment, you’re about to shock the world with your comeback. If your Amen is louder, may it seal up your rising in Jesus’ name.

Now you’re in a picture of those who are condemned to fail; there are things that you couldn’t have because of your challenge but you are that type who rises when the world is against you. There are people listening to me; when they were not attacking you, there was no testimony; when they were not attacking you, your level was low; when they were not rising to attack you in WhatsApp groups; to fight you, your ministry, marriage and business, you were too ordinary, but now since they have set arrows against you, the world is about to hear you. Now that they have set hatred against you, the world is about to hear you. You don’t have a proof to show that your God is powerful when you’re now in Babylon, and captive. You don’t have a proof that your God is a God who can raise vagabonds when you’re walking on foot and others are driving. You cannot have proof that your God can change stories when you’re the only one in your family who is not married yet others are married, but I came to tell you that what you couldn’t do in Jerusalem, Babylon will hear you. I said, what you couldn’t do in Jerusalem, Babylon shall hear about you. In that moment, Nebuchadnezzar was the most powerful and feared man in the whole world. The world would tremble at him and his words when he spoke, no one could change them. But I read, “These are the men who changed the king’s word.” I am looking for that Generation that is going to reverse what the world powers are condemning or assigning and you become the one who is going to altar the declaration of the demonic world.

What you couldn’t do in the days of pleasure, you’re about to do in the days of attack. When the world collapses on you, get ready to make news. In that moment, they were given demonic names and on top of that, they were in the city of the power of Nebuchadnezzar where he worships all his demons, and all that the magician had done; he is making an image saying if you don’t worship this image, you shall be put to fire. The boys that rose from Jerusalem are about to shake and make history in Babylon. At the peak of his power; I don’t know which witch has grabbed your power, I don’t know which power of darkness has posted control  over your destiny, but in the name of Jesus, you’re about to humble that power and demon, you’re about to paralyze that network. Therefore, tonight, I declare it as your night of surprise comeback. You’re about to show up, when they all say, where is your God; when they all say, what is your God doing about your marriage, career and womb, don’t be worried, what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard and what no heart has perceived, God is about to do it for you.

In that moment, Nebuchadnezzar forced them to worship his god yet God’s worship is by will power. Nebuchadnezzar wanted to rob people the will power on whom to worship; he said, I will force you if you don’t worship or I will attack and put you in fire. Nebuchadnezzar asked these Hebrew boys, didn’t you hear the sound to bow down and worship my god; can I give you an option to go and discuss before you come here? Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego said to the king, the most powerful man, we don’t need another meeting to talk about this subject, “even when our God doesn’t deliver us, one thing you must know, you king, we shall not bow down to your god; we would rather die to meet God than live to lose God. We are ready to die for Him because our lives are in Him.” They were defeated in Jerusalem and now they are in Babylon, where they are expected to tremble against the most powerful man who says, “I multiply your fire by seven.” The more they increase their attack, they don’t know that they are increasing your influence. The more they gather in meetings against your life, they are not aware that they are beginning to advertise you. They start groups harassing your career not knowing that they are making you more popular. I am talking to someone who is about to make news before the year ends in their career, life, business and marriage, Get ready, something big is about to happen to you. What you couldn’t do in a normal environment, you’re about to shock them when things are worse. Therefore, in the midst of the attack when the globe is shaking, I see you buy land, houses like newspapers; I see your career shining more. When others are losing their jobs, you’re getting promoted. When others are losing their businesses, you’re buying more businesses. Someone is about to shake the world in the midst of darkness.

Friends, if you have never given your life to Jesus and you want to make Him first in your life, just say this simple prayer: “Lord Jesus, I ask you to be the Lord of my life; forgive me of all my sins; cleanse me; I believe You died on the cross for me and You rose from the dead. I ask you to be first in my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit; make me a new person and I believe in You in Jesus’ name.” You are Now a born again.

Enduring The Battle

Galatians 6:9 reads, And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Its very important that we don’t give up too soon; we don’t fall out of grace; we don’t faint. The bible says, [If] thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength [is] small [Proverbs 24:10].

I want to share with you about something that God revealed to me about “Enduring the hardships; Enduring the battle.” In Ephesians 3:8, this is Paul writing; “Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints,…” This is a great level of humility to this general and apostle of faith. “…is this grace given that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ.” Verse 9, And to make all [men] see what [is] the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ. Verse 10, To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly [places] might be known by the church… We are going to make something known to the church because the church is Christ’s bride. What is that going to be known to the church? The manifold wisdom of God. Verse 11, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord. So God has a reason of everything He is doing. Verse 12-16, In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.

There are no small battles in this world which we are in. There’s no discharge and once you sign up, you sign in. Every battle you win is a big deal. There are no accidental victories. Every battle is fought through the mind of God. And you know the mind of God that He thinks the end from the beginning. Every battle you go through is already fought through the mind of God and He knows every detail. That may give you the peace of mind. God will never figure out how you will win that battle because it goes through His mind. He always knows what to do. He thought about that battle already, that you’re coming out victorious.

Let me speak to you today, you are not going to fail in this battle. You are not going to lose it, you’re not going lose your mind and time. Everything has been thought about through the mind of God. Everything we are going through has been strategically planned in the mind of God. He does everything because He see your outcome; He sees the millionaire you’re going to become; He sees you flying your own jet; He sees you owning the land; He sees you owning the business. There are no small battles and accidental victory; you’re going to see it at the end. God always wants you to come out of your battle when the devil is humiliated and defeated. He wants you to humiliate the devil time and time again. Everything we go through has been processed and planned through the mind of God.

You are not going to win or accomplish that thing God told you to do by accident. We must start telling people that God made the earth for me, I am not winning or succeeding or anointed by accident. You had to go through something; I had to pay the price and that’s the humility. No part of our victory is accidental. Your victory, and every victory we have is intentional. Listen: Endurance of a battle is purposely for me to endure and to make known to the principalities and to the powers the manifold wisdom of the living God. God is causing you to win on purpose. He is causing you to prosper on purpose. To you it was accidental but to God it was on purpose. The devil is already defeated but God wants him humiliated. When Jesus came, he said, I have ALL the power, and the devil has no power. ALL power in heaven and on the earth is in the hands of Jesus.

In every situation, God wants you to come out and humiliate the devil. God has graced you to endure and to go through that situation because He wants to humiliate the devil who is already defeated. God is determined that every principalities and powers bow down to the name of Jesus. That’s why all these things we are going through, these victories which are intentional, all these battles which you are winning, they are designed to humiliate the enemy and ultimately bring him to his knees until he declares that Jesus is Lord. When you don’t give up, the devil is humiliated. When the devil attacked my son and family, God told me that He was going to give me double for my trouble. The devil wanted us to be stressed but God purposely graced our lives to be able to go through that, deal with all the things we had to deal with, and He humiliated the enemy over and over again. Declare: the devil is already defeated in my life. God wants him humiliated.

So, it now time to focus our faith. The Lord told me that where He was taking me, I needed to focus my faith. You have to get results and get to the end that I have declared. Therefore, whatever you are going through, you are not going to be distracted, you are not going to lose hope, praise, be depressed, lose your mind, and nothing is going to happen. You must stay focused knowing that you are going to the expected end, and God took this thing in His mind. Declare: I am not going to lose my skin, my teeth, my properties and everything that God has given me, but I am going to stay focused; I am going to keep going from glory to glory and from faith to faith until I reach that expected end. Therefore, you must purpose in your heart that you’re going to keep your faith focused. Even when bad things happen to your family, just know that you’re not going to lose and nothing will happen to you because God thought about that thing in His mind. Keep focus of your faith on this truth that God has purposefully graced you to endure this battle because He wants to bring humiliation to the enemy. Why do you keep your faith focused? Because you’re already on His mind. You have already won and you have the victory over the enemy. Even when that tragedy destroys your finances, I tell you, you will be at the top; you have already won, it’s just a matter of time. The reason why you are going through that season [of difficulties] is because God wants to humiliate the enemy.

God plays cheese and not checkers; He makes every move before the enemy does. What you’re going through is about Him to bring a humiliation on Satan. You have to tell yourself, I have already won; I could be suffering right now but I have already won because God purposed this thing already in His mind before He brought me in. Therefore, focus your faith. Know that what you’re going through, it’s not about you, allow God to go ahead and humiliate the devil in your life; let God do whatever He wants to show that the enemy has no power, he cannot do what he says he can do.

Note these things: you have already won and this is not about you but a continuous humiliation of the devil which causes the manifold manifestation of the wisdom of God. Every person in the bible that didn’t faint and that kept their faith focused, they were intentionally victorious and they were purposefully graced to endure what they had to go through. God is going to grace you to go through that… God graced us when our son was on drugs that we had to endure and now he is going around the world preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ humiliating the enemy. Every person in the bible who had victory had to go through something which they endured. Abraham had a battle with Sarah, where he had these thoughts that Ismael would be the promised child. He battled all these outside influences. It’s not a small battle to give birth at a hundred years. Moses had a battle of insecurity and speech; he had a battle to lead one million people to safety. And God wanted to use Moses. All the battles that Abraham endured with his outside influences brought him to the place of victory. Therefore, there are no accidental victories.

David battled his way to become a man who was after God’s own heart; a man whom God wanted and the sweet psalmist of Israel. I don’t know what your battle is but there are no small battles. May be internally you are struggling with insecurity or your looks or speech or weight or standing before people or with finances or drugs or alcohol or same sex desires, I don’t know what you are struggling with, but you have that battle and God has graced your life to overcome it, and to go through it. No matter how long it takes, you have already won. Think about how your testimony will be when you stand up victorious. I want to tell this that when you press to endure the battle, no matter who you are, you have already won. Keep your faith and focus on the end.

Israel battled through 430 years of slavery but they became the elect of God. When you look everywhere, there are Jews and they control wealth everywhere. They endured the task masters. GRACE caused them to endure the battle. Don’t let anybody talk you out in giving up, throwing out the towel because you have the grace to endure this battle and you have already won. Apostle Paul battled with confusion when he was writing his epistles and whenever he battled with his past, GRACE came to his rescue. God through Paul’s life was able to humiliate the devil. Paul wrote many letters in the New Testament. Peter battled double-mindedness to become the preacher of Pentecost. 1 Corinthians 1:25-28 says, Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, [are called]: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, [yea], and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are. God purposely chooses the weak and makes them do great things. He deliberately chose you. If you are embarrassed about your past, God knew about your past. Have confidence in God that He can see the picture of your future. He knew that you were that crazy and you couldn’t talk, but He deliberately chose you. God chose us knowing that we were weaklings, nothing, foolish and said, I can use you. God use the foolish to confuse the enemy; he wants him scratch his head.

We are not different, Jesus is the SAME yesterday, today and forevermore, and His mission and power are still the SAME. His wisdom is still the SAME, and His power is inexhaustible. Hebrews 12:1, Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. We must focus our faith to win this race by looking to Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God [Hebrews 12:2]. Remember, no small battle, no accidental victories. It’s not about us but God giving a constant humiliation to the devil.

Friends, if you have never given your life to Jesus and you want to make Him first in your life, just say this simple prayer: “Lord Jesus, I ask you to be the Lord of my life; forgive me of all my sins; cleanse me; I believe You died on the cross for me and You rose from the dead. The Wisdom of God [3]

Wisdom has a way, and what is the way of the wisdom of God? Number 1: is the word of God. The word of God is the container of the wisdom of God. In Colossians 3:16 the bible says, Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom. When the word of Christ dwells in you, you explode in wisdom. In Luke 11: 49, when Jesus was referring to the word of God, he called it the wisdom of God. He said, Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and [some] of them they shall slay and persecute. He was calling the word of God the wisdom of God and the wisdom of God the word of God. 2 Timothy 3:15, And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise… Scriptures makes wise. Revelation imparts discretion. You get discretion if you connect to revelation from the scriptures. Scriptures make wise. Jeremiah 8:9, The wise [men] are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom [is] in them? You cannot reject the WORD and retain wisdom. When people are disconnected from the word of God, they are disconnected from the wisdom of the LORD. The word of God is the container of the wisdom of the Lord. What does that mean to you? All God needs is to give you one scripture in the midst of your affliction, your situation and that scripture can give you the wisdom you need to handle the situation you’re in.

Beloved, there are specific revelations for specific situations. There are specific lights for specific nights. When you find yourself in a situation, there is a specific word that gives you a turn around. There are specific insights and scriptures that change the story. The miracles required require a specific word. The word is light and light is wisdom. Psalms 119:105, Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Now that word of God, brings wisdom. The wisdom of God is located in the word of God.

Number 2: the plan of God carries the wisdom of God. Do you want to flow in the wisdom of God? Don’t just do things because people are doing them. Don’t do things because they appear popular. Don’t just do things because your friends are doing them; you want to go to America because your friend has a green card not knowing that that green card doesn’t mean green light; your friend shifted to Britain and now you want to travel there; your friend started a contract business and you also want to start a contract business; your friend started a church and you say I can now preach more than him, I want to start a church. NO! The plan of God is the container of the wisdom of God. If God is not into it, nothing can force it to work out. The mind of God, the bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:16, For [“who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?”] But we have the mind of Christ. Do you want to function in the wisdom of God? Find out what God has said. When you find the mind of God, you’re in the arena of the wisdom of God.

TESTIMONY: I have said this many times. Where we are today, the Glory Dome in the LORD’s Garden on the airport road in Abuja, Nigeria; the place of the location was shown to me in the revelation of the night, maybe like 15years ago. This place was shown with a landmark that if you see this, that is the land and that landmark is still here up to now. If you see this that is the landmark; if you see this, that’s the property. And we tried to look for the property, nowhere could we find it. Then we went to other parts of town out, many kilometers away, maybe like two hour drive; we got several acres somewhere, almost a thousand acres somewhere else but we couldn’t find where God said so. Then the Lord told me while praying, “Remember where I showed you!” I told Him, “Lord, we couldn’t find anything there.” Because we were told that there was no property on airport road. He told me, “Remember where I showed you.” One square kilometer in His plan is better than a thousand acres elsewhere. So I called a property agent who is also a member of this church to-date and said to him, “kneel down; we need a property for so and so size of contraction, of so and so location between so and so place on the airport road on the right hand side,” Go and find it. I anointed him. Go, find it and that is your work. If it was my work I would have located it since but it’s your work. In less than seven days, he returned back and told me that he had found the place where you talked about. He said, they have over 500 acres that they want to sell and some to hire. I said, let us go and this is the place.” When construction started, there was no sweat and struggle. Millions and millions were spent monthly. No borrowing and no debt. All this happened because we stepped into the wisdom and the plan of God. The plan of God is the wisdom of God. The wisdom of God commands the wealth of God, the resources of God and the supplies of God. I prophesy to someone here, every area of your life where you need to understand the plan of God, the purpose of God, the intention of God for your life that is not yet clear, I prophesy direction in the name of Jesus. In the word of God is the wisdom of God. In the plan of God is the wisdom of God.

Number 3: in the Spirit of God is the wisdom of God. The spirit of God is the spirit of wisdom. Exodus 31:1-3, Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all [manner of] workmanship The spirit of God is the spirit of wisdom. Isaiah 11:1-2, There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots. The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD. What am I saying? If you’re filled with the Holy Ghost, you have a depot of wisdom. You are a container of wisdom. Every time you speak in tongues, you are not only just speaking a prayer language, you are speaking mysteries. 1 Corinthians 14:2, For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands [him;] however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. What are mysteries? They are coded secrets, coded language, hidden secrets. The hidden mysteries are part of the wisdom of God. All you need is to have little access to some of the codes of what you are speaking.

Oral Roberts said, “Two things were the secret of his ministry. The seed faith principle and the capacity of speaking in tongues and understanding what was spoken.” That realm was where he headed to build of the Oral Roberts University. It was in that realm that he got many things. He got the wisdom of God to do all the things he did, understanding the hidden secrets and the hidden mysteries that came out of the spirit of God. We are not only meant to speak in tongues; speaking in tongues is meant to make us walk in spiritual sense and supernatural sense (high frequency mentality). You live in a realm where people cannot understand the realm of your thinking, the realm of your wisdom, the realm of your understanding and the realm of your solutions.

I prophesy to somebody here, every outstanding visions, outstanding revelations, outstanding mysteries and outstanding understanding in the realm of the spirit, they will come now. There’s something hidden that is going to unveil to you; it’s going to be a secret that will cause you to shift from where you are right now to where you are meant to be. Declare: Father, I am connected to the Spirit of God and the Spirit of wisdom. I have wisdom. I have access to the secrets of God.

Finally, wisdom comes by association with the wise. I am not talking about the wise of this world, I am talking about the wise in the kingdom. Proverbs 13:20, He who walks with wise [men] will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed. Your connections affect your collection. Association for assimilation; you assimilate as you associate. You collect as you connect. Mindsets, choices, lifestyles and action steps are changed by who you walk with. That’s why you haven’t done anything about your destination until you have done something with your associations. The question is, who are you connected to? Whose steps are you taking after? Who is sharpening you? Who is sharpening your mind? When you follow a vehicle that is going nowhere, you end up nowhere. Association with the wise; whatever you are doing now, someone else is doing it or maybe doing it better than you. Who are those people? Connect with them. Relate with them. There cannot be mentality without humility, and the only thing you can get without humility is stupidity. When a person is too big to ask, he is too small to learn. Arrogance is the foundation for ignorance. When a person is arrogant, he must be ignorant.

Four things you do: the word, the mind of God, the spirit of God and the association of the wise. These things will launch you into the realm of wisdom. That realm of wisdom will show you the different dimensions of God. That realm of wisdom will take you to exploits, it will give you supernatural supplies. That realm of wisdom will help you to disarm principalities and powers, and that wisdom will establish you on rulership and stardom. Wisdom will produce victory because battles might be fought with weapons but they are won by wisdom. TONIGHT, someone’s victory is here and if you are the one, say a big AMEN

The Wisdom of God [2]

Prayer is good but after you have done all that, the wisdom of God commands the wealth of God [Ezekiel 28:5]. The wisdom of God is the magnet to the wealth of God. The wealth of God travels in the wisdom of God. Hear me tonight: you are a pastor trusting God for supernatural supplies for your ministry, you’re a business man trusting God for financial provisions and you want to change levels, I prophesy the wisdom of God. I prophesy creativity. I prophesy innovation. I prophesy supernatural sensibility. There are people here, God is just going to drop one creative idea, one revelation, one direction, one instruction that is going to change your life, your family, community and everything about you.

Beloved brothers and sisters, we need the wisdom of God. The fifth thing that the wisdom of God does, it is responsible for the defeat and disarming the principalities and powers. He said in the end of time, we shall show to the principalities and powers of darkness. The manifold wisdom of God is responsible for the defeat and disarming of principalities. I love this scripture in 1 Corinthians 2:6, Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought. Someone say, the wisdom of God. Verse 7-8: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. This took the devil, the principalities and powers by surprise. By His wisdom, He took them by surprise. When they said, nail him, nail him, they never knew that they were working for God; they never knew that they were working to fulfill the purpose of God and they never knew that they were working to fulfill the agenda of God. You know there is a way God can make His enemy to work for Him without the permission of the devil. He can make the devil do it speedily; where the devil thought he was working against God and ended up working for God is in the wisdom of God.

Hear me very well: the forces of darkness, witchcraft and hell that think that they are working against you, in the wisdom of God, God will soon make them to begin working for you, work for the church and work for His purposes. By the wisdom of God, we disarm principalities and powers. Do you know what it means? It means that God will show you what to do and how to do it. And that which is shown to you to do will put principalities on the run; it will make the witches to die. He will just give you one idea, one revelation, a word and that is enough to arrest the devil. I speak against territorial principalities, I speak against municipality principalities and every stronghold around your life and family attacking your destiny, by the wisdom of God, I decree they are disarmed. Somebody shout, POWER. The wisdom of God is responsible for the disarming and defeat of principalities, and that wisdom is going to disarm all the powers and principalities of that nation of Uganda, and the two hour prayer on Monday, [Sept-28th-2020] is going to blanket the airwaves to disarm the forces of hell. The bible says, the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our God, His Son and His Spirit. By the wisdom of God, the kingdom of this world shall become the kingdom of our God.

The sixth thing that the wisdom of God does, it is the secret of rulership. Let me say it like this: wisdom will establish you in the kingdom and stardom. Wisdom will establish you in a kingdom and also establish you in stardom, in rulership. In summary, the wisdom of God puts you in-charge. Proverbs 8:15, By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. That is the wisdom of God speaking. Ecclesiastes 8:1[b] says, a man’s wisdom maketh his face to shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed. What is it? What do you think positioned Joseph in Egypt as a prime minister? Was it power? No! Was it any other thing? No! It was the wisdom. Pharaoh said in Genesis 41:39, “Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, [there is] no one as discerning and wise as you.” What positioned Solomon as king? It was wisdom. What positioned Daniel in Babylon was wisdom. There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom [is] the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods [Daniel 5:11]. Daniel was positioned by wisdom. Solomon was positioned by wisdom. David was positioned by wisdom. Joseph was positioned by wisdom.

Jesus is the combination of wisdom and power. 1 Corinthians 1:24 states it that, “Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.” The balance of power and wisdom equals rulership. The balance of power and wisdom equals dominion. I want to announce again tonight, in the name which is above all names, Jesus Christ the resurrected Lord, you are about to step into the new realm. You know wisdom is the combination of two words; wise and dominion. ‘Wis’ for WISDOM and ‘dom’ for DOMINION. The meaning of that is, a wise man is established in the dominion of the wisdom. Wisdom places you in the domain of the wise; you’re established in your domain. I announce and prophesy to someone; apostle, a pastor, evangelist, prophet, music minister, cultural leader, politician, business man, whatever be the realm of your domain, by the wisdom of God, you shall take your place. You are taking your place (pray in the Spirit for two minutes). I connect to the wisdom of God to step into my God ordained domain; I connect to the wisdom of God to step in there.

And finally before we close: the seventh thing that wisdom of God does, it is the key to victory. The wisdom of God is key to victory in life’s battles. In Ecclesiastes 9:18, Wisdom [is] better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good. Hear this, I have said it many times: “battles are fought with weapons but they are won with wisdom.” You fight the battle with weapon but you win it with wisdom. A man and a woman with wisdom will defeat an army with weapons. And you could be asking, how is that true? This is the truth; the wall of Jericho didn’t fall by weapons, the wall of Jericho fell by the wisdom of God. God communicated His wisdom, the way of doing it, His approach, His action plan, His action steps and He communicated it and they did it accordingly and they won without firing a weapon. The Amalekites, the Edomites came against Judah and that battle was not fought by weapons but that battle was fought by the wisdom of God. God gave strategic action steps and plan, strategic moves and the people lined up with the strategic move of God and the battle was won.

You could be saying, I need wisdom, I have been struggling. Hear me well: strategy is superior to struggle. Strategy is the secret of success and victory. The battle against the Moabites, it was not weapons that fought. God told them to dig trenches in the valley. You will not see wind nor rain but the valley shall be filled with water. Wisdom is strategic to victory. I prophesy to someone here tonight, that wisdom needed to win the victory you’re trusting God in your family life, in your financial life, in your ministry; I am speaking to a pastor right now and you have been struggling in ministry trusting God to save the lost, deliver your community and to see a revival, and you were wondering, “Lord what is happening?” I prophesy and I announce, the wisdom of God is coming to you tonight and it is showing you the way out. With no doubt tonight, someone will encounter divine wisdom. Divine wisdom will change your story. Give Jesus a sixty second shout.

Ephesians 3:7-10 reads, Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all [men] see what [is] the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly [places] might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God.

Tonight, I will be speaking on the wisdom of God. My objective is to see the products of the wisdom of God and the ways of the wisdom of God. The amplified version calls the manifold the wisdom of God, “the complicated, many-sided wisdom of God in all its infinite variety and innumerable aspects” might be known to the church. And I want you to understand that God’s agenda in this end time is to make His wisdom known to principalities and powers. The manifold wisdom of God in all His infinite variety and innumerable aspects. Jehovah intends to take the world by surprise by the manifestation of the wisdom of God. I believe that wisdom is coming to manifest in someone’s life tonight. I believe the powers of darkness, the principalities, the territorial powers, the forces of witchcraft are about to see the wisdom of God like they have never seen before. Get ready for the wisdom of God and its manifestation.

Most people don’t understand the wisdom of God; some think its knowledge or sensibility but we are going to explore it tonight. So, what is in the wisdom of God? What can the wisdom of God do? What does the wisdom of God have to offer?

The first thing we know is that the wisdom of God is creative capacity. The wisdom of God has the capacity to bring something out of nothing. The wisdom of God brings a treasure out of a trash. It brings the riches out of a rubbish. Psalms 104:24, O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches. The bible makes it clear when it says that the earth and all in it were brought forth out of the wisdom of God. Proverbs 3:19, The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. The bible makes it clear that the wisdom of God created the world. Jeremiah 10:12, He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion. Jeremiah 51:15, the bible makes it clear that, He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding. The meaning of this, is in anyway the wisdom of God is abounds, creation happens; creative manifestation and miracles happen; things are brought into existence that have never happened before; new beginnings are made to happen. I decree and prophesy, that something is coming into your life. A creative miracle is happening for somebody. Something that has been missing in your life is being released and restored by the wisdom of God.

The second thing that the wisdom of God does, it over turns mountains. Job talk about the wisdom of God in Job 28:9-10, He putteth forth his hand upon the rock; he overturneth the mountains by the roots. He cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing. The wisdom of God is responsible for the uprooting of the impossibilities. Even when there’s something impossible, the wisdom of God handles it. It was the wisdom of God that made Joseph to be the second in command to Pharaoh and to interpret his dreams. It was wisdom that made Daniel to become a governor in Babylon. It was the wisdom of God that made Jesus to handle the complications of the Pharisees and Sadducees. The wisdom of God has the ability to uproot the obstacles. I declare tonight, by the wisdom of God I am preaching, that everything called obstacles is being overturned; everything called difficulties is uprooted; everything called a challenge in your life is being dissolved in Jesus’ name.

Declare, I receive the wisdom of God and I connect to the wisdom of God. Listen to me beloved: between now and tomorrow, God is going to give you a revelation and it’s going to handle an impossibility. God is going to give you a direction, a revelation, an instruction that will uproot a mountain. God is going to give you an insight that will clarify something and nullify a confusion. I know that if you know what to do, you live where you’re. Many people are where they are because they don’t know what to do. If you know what to do, you leave where you are. If you know what to do, the struggle is over. Concerning Jesus in John 6:6, the bible says, “himself knew what he would do.” Jesus always knew what to do, and that is called the wisdom of God. And because He knew what to do, He wasn’t stranded, he couldn’t be hindered and he was unstoppable. I prophesy to you tonight, in the name of Jesus, the wisdom of God will cross you over to that mountain coming your way. And you’re going to testify, that you connected to this program and you got wisdom; that when you slept, you got revelations, instructions and something changed. Declare it: something is changing. I don’t know the impossibilities around your life, family, ministry or nation but the wisdom of God is coming.

Where we are today, is a product of the wisdom of God. The wisdom of God is the answer to the impossibilities, difficulties, mountains, obstacles and limitations of life. If a man or woman is connected to the wisdom of God, you move as if obstacles don’t exist. You operate and function as if mountains can’t exist. You move as if limitations don’t exist. People look at you and wonder what you do but you’re connected to the wisdom of God.

The third thing in the wisdom of God is, the secret of exploits. The secret of mighty works. Mark 6:2, And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing [him] were astonished, saying, From whence hath this [man] these things? and what wisdom [is] this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands? Wisdom equals mighty works. The wisdom of God is the secret of mighty works. The wisdom of God is the sponsor of mighty works. A man of wisdom is a man of exploits; mighty miraculous works; mighty construction works; mighty financial works and mighty works in all realms. When we talk about exploits, what are they? Exploits mean results that command attention. Attention commanding results equals exploits. So, wisdom is the secret of attention commanding results. Ministerial attention, territorial attention and global attention. Exploits are record setting results. Exploits are record breaking results. Exploits are earth shaking results. That is the kind of exploits did when the temple of Solomon was built.

Brethren, if you’re tired of little works, you need the wisdom of God. If you want to see results that no devil can claim, that no principality can be ignorant of, you need the wisdom of God. I prophesy to someone here today, that wisdom is coming. We had men like Joseph who produced results that no man in his lineage ever saw. People like Daniel produced such results. The wisdom of God will cause you to see creation and new beginnings. It will make the impossible to become possible. It will overturn mountain.

Fourth thing, the wisdom of God is responsible for the miracle of supernatural supplies. After you have given and done what you have to do, the wisdom of God is responsible for supernatural supplies. Jesus Christ in John 6:6, the bible tells, “himself knew what to do!” He got knowledge of what to do. Five loaves and two fishes were brought to feed 5000men beside women and children, and then 12 baskets taken home later, it was by the wisdom of God. The wisdom of God is key to supernatural supplies, where you are connected to a supply that is beyond the scope of human provision. In 1 Kings 10:24-25, the bible says, And all the earth sought to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart. And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armour, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year. Let’s look at Verse 23: So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom. When you have the wisdom of God, you have also His wealth. When you have the mentality of God, you have plenty and abundance. In Ezekiel 28:5, the bible says, By thy great wisdom [and] by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches. You increase riches by wisdom. The wisdom of God is the magnet of God. And the wealth of God travels in the wisdom of God.

They Will See and FEAR

Wherever you are right now, I know that the grace (of God) in this place (Miracle Centre Cathedral) will touch you. And every mountain and every hill in your life can melt away. I know of this God who melts away mountains and they know not [Nahum 1:5]. The grace upon our Pastors, Robert and Jessica Kayanja, I pray that it will come upon us. And I believe that you will not leave this service regretting. I have faith in God that what is impossible to man is possible to God for your sake.

Therefore, I want to challenge you, I don’t know what you are going through, but God has given me your message and you shall not leave this service the same person by the grace of God. I have two scriptures from two books which I want you to read and there after I will preach to you the word of God and those are; Genesis 37:17-28 & Psalms 40:1-3.

I am so excited to tell you that in a little while, people are going to see you and they shall exalt the LORD. Let me tell you this: somebody is preparing and what they are preparing for, they don’t know it but they will see you. And they will fear because they don’t know how things concerning you changed. That is what I believe this evening. I want you to remember these words, “They will see you and even fear because they will not know what is NEXT which concerns your life.”

The bible has told us in Genesis 37:18, And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him. But one of his [Joseph] brothers, Reuben got a thought which he didn’t know where it came from; which looked good or maybe which seemed like it couldn’t hurt his brother, because the bible says, he said in his heart, lest we lay our hands on him or shed his blood. At least let us cast him in a pit but without killing him. That seemed good and working; it seemed to redeem his brother that perhaps he would return him to his father. I came to declare to you, believing this evening, before you leave this service that somebody will fear after the works of God are perfected in your life.

Somebody won’t believe what happened to you; they will wonder, what took place? How it began? How the doors were opened for you? How you got out of those debts and troubles. Days are not very far from now, and I have faith in God, that your destiny whether you like it or not is coming out of your enemy’s hands. Your goings are getting out of the enemy’s hands. Your destiny is coming out of the troubles of life. The bible tells me, they changed their thought, and as he reached near them, they stripped him of his coat, [his] coat of [many] colours that [was] on him and threw him in the pit. They left that aside and forgot about him; they sat down and ate, but in the midst of their meal, a thought came into Judah and he said, lol, I have changed my mind, let’s go and get him so that we don’t shed his blood. At least, let’s sell him off. And this is what the bible says, “when he was cast in a pit” [pit had no water], this is amazing: he had no one to cry to, because the ones he could have cried too, were the very ones behind his troubles.

Joseph had no one to cry to besides crying to God. This evening, I hear a voice in a pit and you are saying, I got no one I can cry to. The one I would have cried to, is the one behind my troubles. I am sent today by the grace of God to tell you that there is a voice being heard in the midst of your pit which David talks about, “that in the days of trouble, I cried to God in the depth of the pit and He heard my prayer.” There’s a voice that is being heard amidst what you are going through. God heard Joseph from the pit, and the Midianites who were passing by had no choice because they were behind the hearing of the voice of God. I declare unto you: where you’re going, you don’t know there, you are in the depth of a pit. You don’t know what is next but God has sent me to tell you, that there’s somebody who is about to hear your voice. You have no choice; where you love to go is not where you’re going but I know this one word, He who began a good work in your life, and brought a dream, will not let you die in that pit. He will not let them sell you where they want. He won’t let the useless people to touch you.

This is what amazes me. When he was in a pit, crying unto the Lord; I imagine him thinking that his brothers were going to get him out or maybe he would land in the hands of the one he loved. I have been sent today, whichever hands you shall fall into, let them carry you to your destiny. May the choice of hands you land into, never decide to do to you what they wish. You won’t be put to shame, and you won’t be ashamed.  No wonder David says, He heard my cry. In other words, He heard my prayer while I was in a pit and He took me out of it. Today, I want to challenge you that there’s a hand getting you out. I remind you again, your cry is amazing. When you cry to God, the end will determine, because even some places which you saw not belonging to you, God is going to use them to perfect His plan.

Quickly, David says this: He heard my cry in the pit I was in. He took me out of it and placed my feet on the rock. Psalms 40:2, He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, [and] established my goings. Verse 3: And he hath put a new song in my mouth, [even] praise unto our God… I want to challenge you that God who heard your prayer shall not leave you in the pit. When He got him out of the pit, He placed his feet upon a rock. This evening, you shall remember that when I was making 4 years of the 77 Days of Glory, God took my feet out of the pit and set them upon the rock. I declare an establishment. Whether they like it or not, may God order your steps. Let the scourers be ashamed. I declare, in the days of establishing your goings, you will not be in trouble; your troubles will not succeed, people will not decide what you shall become; poverty will not make it with you; you will not remain in the house of your slavery. In the days when your destiny is established, even when you fall, you shall rise again; no prison shall hold you and overcome you; nobody shall dare stand your presence and succeed. In the days when your destiny is established, God will help you and He is the only One who knows how you will walk out of Potiphar’s house; He will decide your prison. In establishing your destiny, God decides the people you will meet; He decides your ending. This evening, I feel in my heart, God is singling out one person, and today, He is establishing your destiny.

In Psalms 40:3, the bible says, “many shall see [it], and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.” And in Genesis 45, one day when his brothers had gathered, they thought they were standing before an Egyptian. The bible says, he cried with a loud voice. And he commanded those surrounding him to leave, in order to introduce himself before his brethren who thought he was dead. They thought, he’s no longer alive. They could not think that among all people, it could be Joseph. I prophesy to you today, “the days of fear you your haters who never thought that God had started on you.” I declare that even the Nation you are hidden in, God is the One who decides to whom you will show off His glory. In the days of joy, they feared God because they looked to him, when he was introducing himself to them, and he told them to fear not but to come closer; I am thee that thou cast in the pit. I declare to you, one of the things that is going to scare them, they will ask, how did you reach there? How did everything change? What happened to you? My God, my God, who opened this door for him? I prophesy, those days are not far from you. I see them knocking in your life. There are those days knocking, that will make you to forget your sorrow and that will cause those who saw you to fear. Those who thought that they knew you, shall look at you and they shall fear. Your enemies, your afflicters, those standing in your way don’t decide what you are going to be.

I declare, no one will know how you got that Job, how you arrived in that nation, how you got that position in that place. Today, I challenge you in the name of Jesus, I came with faith that somebody is getting out of the pit. I know, somebody is crying, you are in a pit of shame, failure, debts and you don’t know how you’re coming out and how you will finish, but I am sent and in one way or another, someone is going to get you out of the pit. And when you call upon His name, He will get you out. He said in Jeremiah 33:3, Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

This evening as I conclude, somebody is calling. I hear a voice and it’s not calling mama or papa but it is calling upon the Son of God to save him and get him out of that trouble. Someone is saved from the chaos of his father’s house. Someone is saved from the chaos of co-workers. I prophesy and declare over your life when we are in this place, where God has had mercy on people, this very place where God has set free the captives, where God has restored life, today someone is calling and your calling shall not be ashamed. I declare a song that God puts on your lips that He has heard your cry, answered you and picked you out of the pit.

Friends, if you have never given your life to Jesus and you want to make Him first in your life, just say this simple prayer: “Lord Jesus, I ask you to be the Lord of my life; forgive me of all my sins; cleanse me; I believe You died on the cross for me and You rose from the dead. I ask you to be first in my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit; make me a new person and I believe in You in Jesus’ name.” You are Now a born again.

Don’t be offended

#4th anniversary Celebrations of 77 D.O.Gs – Sept 23rd

In Matthew chapter 24, the disciples came to Jesus and asked Him, what would be some of the signs that will occur before His return? I think, we all know that we are living in the days of the return of Jesus Christ. And I want us to focus on verse 10 where Jesus made this statement: “And then many will be offended,...” The Greek word for ‘many’ literally means ‘majority’. So we are not talking about a small number here. We are talking about over 50%. “…they will betray one another, and will hate one another.” Now this is a progression. An offended person will eventually betray and if betrayal is not dealt with, it will lead to hatred. You could ask me, where do I get this from? Proverbs 18:19 says, A brother offended [is harder to win] than a strong city. In the days of Solomon who wrote the book of Proverbs, a strong city was surrounded by walls. And those walls were built for protection.

This is what an offended Christian does; when they are hurt by somebody, they begin to build walls. Now these walls are not physical walls like in those cities, but these walls are called strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:3 says, For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. We are in a war zone. Verse 4 says, For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds. Now what are those strongholds? He goes ahead to say what they are in verse 5: “casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” Now all these three things he talks about, what are they? These are walls of thought processes, reasoning that we develop deep in our souls that are contrary to the will of God. The will of God or the word of God is revealed in His nature. What is the nature of God? LOVE. He doesn’t have hate in Him. He is love. He is the very essence of love. So, love always wants to give and to give.

However, an offended person, someone who has been hurt begins to build these walls in their mind and emotions. The focus is no longer to give but rather it’s me to protect and protect. This makes you a perfect candidate for betrayal. A lot of people don’t understand what betrayal is. They think of Judas, but let me give you its definition. A betrayal is when I seek my protection, my interests at the expense of whom I have a relationship with. In other words, I have been hurt and I am going to protect myself even at the expense of him whom I have a relationship with because my thoughts are towards that; to protect and protect and protect. Betrayal is an ultimate abandonment of a relationship and if it’s not dealt with, it can lead to hatred.

A lot of Christians don’t understand what hatred is. They see hatred as being really angry. You can hate someone and have no emotions at all because the Greek word for hate is the Greek word which means love less. It’s a vacuum with no love residing in there. So when you look to the bible, Absalom hated Amnon and he did no evil to him [2 Samuel 13:33]. Hatred is a complete vacuum with no love in it. Hatred is very serious because the bible says, if you hate your brother, you are a murderer. Jesus talks to Christians that if you hate your brother, don’t think that you have an eternal life and my love doesn’t abide in you.

Jesus talks to His disciples that in the last days, “many will be offended, they will betray one another, and will hate one another.” Then He gives an alarming sign in Matthew 24:11, many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. Now who are the ‘many’ that these false prophets are going to deceive? The many that were offended. “An offended heart is the breeding ground for deception.” There is one major problem with deception and it’s deceiving. The person who is deceived believes with all their heart that they are right yet in reality they are wrong. So, Jesus said these false prophets are going to deceive many who are offended but listen to this; Jesus in the gospels calls these false prophets wolves. Wolves travel in packs and what they do is to isolate the sheep from the herd [where its protection is]. That’s why it’s so important that we don’t forsake the assembling of ourselves together.

Proverbs 18:1 says, A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; He rages against all wise judgment. Why? Because we are now target for the wolves pack. In verse 12 of Matthew 24, Jesus says, And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. The Greek word for lawlessness is anomia, which simply means, you are not submitted to the authority of God’s word. So what is lawlessness thinking? Is when I think contrary to the word of God. Lawlessness thinking is created by offence. You have your walls to protect, protect and protect. Lawlessness abounds in our society today and it’s in the four corners of the church. Jesus said, “the love of many will grow cold.” The world doesn’t have agape which is the love of God and Jesus said, the world cannot receive it.

So, Jesus says, because lawlessness will abound, the agape love of many is going to grow cold. How do I know this is true? Because of verse 13: Jesus said, But he who endures to the end shall be saved [Matthew 24:13]. When you look at the last person and tell them that if you endure to the end, you shall be saved. The last person hasn’t even started the race. When He says, “he who endures”, He is talking to the believers. So, what Jesus is saying is that in the last days, offence will create betrayals, strongholds and it will cause the love of God to grow cold and deception will be rampant. That’s why this message is so important.

David made a statement: he said, it was not an enemy that offended me, it was you my brother. We went into the house of God together. We heard the word of God together, and it’s you who started me wrong [Psalms 55:12-13]. The person who can hurt us the deepest is the person who is the closet to us. A lot of Christians say, the world treats them better than some Christians. Why do they say that? Because our expectations to the world is zero. We have expectation levels on the believers and we have higher expectations on our spouses, and we really have a higher expectations on our pastors, and if they don’t meet those expectations, we set up ourselves for an offence. We position ourselves for an offence by having wrong expectations.

If you want to categorize the offended people, you can put them in two categories. Category 1 are those who have been genuinely mistreated. Category 2 are those who think that they have been mistreated. Category 2, maybe they got wrong information or they got right information but they discerned inaccurately. Okay, let me say, you have been genuinely mistreated, do you have the right to be offended? If you want to go to hell, God will protect you to do it because He gave you a free will. If you’re to walk in fellowship with God, you don’t have the right to be offended. Many people say, wait a minute, you don’t even know what they did to me? A person who says that, doesn’t know how much they were forgiven. Think about this statement: the person (Christian) who cannot forgive, is the person who has forgotten or not realized what they have been forgiven of. If you look at what we deserved when Adam sinned against God and chose to obey Satan’s word over God’s word; God the Father would have looked at Jesus and said, they chose devil over us, let them all go to all and burn forever and let’s create another universe with someone who really loves us. If He had done that, it would be JUST compared to what we had done to hurt Him; the way we offended Him.

I find one of the problems in church is that we categorize sin. We have the big sins like murder, stealing, adultery, witchcraft, and the other sins we call them weaknesses like unforgiveness, strife, gossip. Let me make this statement: in Proverbs 6:16, These six [things] the LORD hates, Yes, seven [are] an abomination to Him. You know what is amazing, adultery is not on the list and I am not supporting adultery. The seventh thing which God says is an abomination is “Gossip.” So, treat gossip as you treat adultery, and you will probably get free. Treat unforgiveness the way you treat murder and probably you will end up forgiving. The problem is that we categorize sin, yet sin is sin. Anybody who truly loves God has no desire to sin. Anybody who loves God doesn’t say, oh grace covers me, let me go and shoot this guy, Jesus will forgive me. Nobody who has God’s nature has that desire. Categorizing sin has set us up to fall into sin because we see it as a weakness not realizing that it put Jesus on the cross.

If you look at the very foundation that put Jesus on the cross at Calvary is forgiveness. Why would Peter look at Jesus and say, my brother sinned against me seven times and that’s enough to forgive. But Jesus said, no, its 7*7 in one day. I don’t know of anyone who can sin 490 times in a day. Jesus tells us that our forgiveness must be like that of our heavenly Father. Jesus in the parable of the unforgiving servant, Matthew 18:21-35 reveals to us when a Christian doesn’t forgive, they are turned to the tormentors. When you don’t forgive, you live a tormenting life, and instead of ministry becoming a passion, it becomes an occupation.

Paul says in Acts 24:16, And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and [toward] men. The key word is exercise. There are certain offences that are treated as though they are wounds to us and wounds don’t heal overnight. Wounds if not properly dealt with, they never heal. There are people who are not reading the word, not praying in the spirit, they are vulnerable to be easily wounded. Psalms says, great peace have they that love your word, nothing can offend them [Psalms 119:165]. If we are strong enough, we are beyond the capability of being wounded. The reason why people are easily wounded is because they don’t spend time in the word of God and praying in the spirit. We as Christians must exercise if we are to be healed from our wounds. Matthew 5:44 says, But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Jesus never told you to pray for your mother, but He said, pray for the person who mistreats and abuses you.

David said in Psalms 35:11-12 says, I was paid evil for good. Sometimes you need to pray whatever you need in your life for the person who hurt you. You pray the truth and not what you feel it’s good. Jesus tells you, when a brother sins against you, go to him and reconcile. There’s a difference between forgiveness and reconciliation if you look at it from the cross. Jesus forgave us when He hung on the cross and said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do” [Luke 23:34]. He wasn’t just speaking to the soldiers or Pharisees, He was speaking to the next and next generation. Jesus forgave us before we ever said, “I am sorry.” And when were we reconciled to God? When we repented; when we said, “Lord, am sorry please forgive me.” And what leads us to reconciliation is the goodness and mercies of God. When Jesus says, go to your brother, it means “Go and create an atmosphere of goodness and mercy.”
