The seven spirits of God: strength

We are still dealing with the fourth spirit of God called STRENGTH according to Revelation 5.  The scripture says for the joy of the Lord is your strength, therefore you must be strong [Nehemiah 8:10]. Isaiah 40:31 reads, but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their Strength. 1 Corinthians 12:10 states For when I am weak, then I am strong. When do you become weak? When you fast and wait upon the Lord. You must learn something about waiting and that is welcoming. You must welcome the Lord; you must welcome the Holy Spirit every morning. When you welcome God like what a waiter does in a restaurant, He will tip you and that’s wealth coming to you. Waiting is welcoming, serving and meditating, and these three will earn you something.

When you fast and pray, you renew your strength. Fasting is staying without food and waiting is hospitality. Prayer is Repentance, forgiveness, prophesying, confessing, giving and worship. Jesus said, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift [Matthew 5:23-24].

Prayer is envisioning. When there’s a vision, people will read it. Habakkuk 2:2 reads, Then the LORD answered me and said: Write the vision and make [it] plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. People with a vision are people with a different spirit; they see things in a different way. The vision is the living bread and its life. To put the vision on tablets means that it comes from a table which has contents. In other words, you must put the vision in an arrangement, and that arrangement is called foundations. When Jesus died, that was the arrangement of God to redeem mankind.

Once the vision is out there, people can’t be illiterate. Jesus died at the skull and the skull has your head. Child of God, your vision must be revealed. Transformation is by vision. The vision says, whosoever reads me must run, that’s why the vision is for the people and not you alone. When God brings you to a table of negotiation, there are documents to sign. We have different types of tables; a table of decision making, feasting, operations, reading, revelation, negotiation and creation.

Many of you are weary of battles, waiting and the devil just wants to drain you out, but the scripture says in Galatians 6:9, And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Get this: your crown [reward] in heaven is not based on your doing good to others but it will come depending on how many people have been transformed by you into the glory of the Son of God! That is why you need strength so that you may not be weary. Listen to this: angel Gabriel dealt with two people; Mary and Elizabeth but his reward is based on the mission he did of convincing these people to accept their assignments and be transformed.

Mark 16:15 reads, And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Preaching has power to transform. Money, trees, animals and humans are all creatures and once you preach to them, they will believe. Creatures can either believe you or not. The scripture says, And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues [Mark 16:17]. We were given authority to cast out demons and to speak in new tongues.

Therefore, wealth is a creature and you must speak its language because it comes from strength. People must also understand what you speak.

It’s my prayer that the Lord will transform you, and thank you for having been part of the Dulaneyland Worship Experience. Many miracles happened in people’s lives and homes, and I believe you too got an encounter with the Holy Ghost.

Positive Desire – Part5

#Desire Dream and Destiny Book|| chpt-2

We have been studying on Positive Desire from my book #Desire, Dream and Destiny. We learnt that desire is the driving force to the place of dreams. I stated that positive desires will always lead us to that place where we work our dreams out. I also said, no one has either enough to pay for our dreams or has enough resources to facilitate our desires with reference to Genesis 30:31c-34.

People of God, a person with positive desires will always attempt to do that which has never been done before so that no one can claim the achievements. By the time Jacob left Laban’s household, he had the strongest herd which had the ability to produce for years to come [Genesis 30:41-43]. You see, desire is an investment and an investment is something that you do for future results. It is never for immediate or quick results. Therefore, when you pray, when you go to church and seek God, you are investing in your life that which is about to produce a future for you. Your future must be greater than your past. Jacob’s home from where he had run had no lack. Laban’s home had great wealth, for each of his daughters had at least two maids. Jacob desired Rachel and all the wealth. He finally got it all and that is the reward of positive desire. Jacob’s fulfilled desire produced in him that which inspired him to return to the place where he had first received his dreams, Bethel.

The scripture says; And it came to pass, when Rachel had born Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and to my country [Genesis 30:25]. Get this: Jacob was able to set his mind on the next step of his life after Rachel had given birth to Joseph. People of God, positive desires are great investments that reveal to us the next levels of our lives. And that is why Rachel, a woman who had been barren for more than fourteen years, declares in Genesis 30:24 that;The LORD shall add to me another son. Our God is in the business of adding to us more than yesterday’s achievements.

Listen to this: positive desires will cause us to have continuous victories in order to silence all critics. And that is the reason God gave Rachel another child and he was named Benjamin [Genesis 35:18]. The bible clearly says that Jacob favored Joseph [Genesis 37:3]; Why? I believe that this lad had turned out to be better than just okay. For every time we have a good dream, we will be dressed up fantastically. Favor came and landed on Joseph and wherever he went, he was favored. In Potiphar’s house, in the prison and even in the palace of Pharaoh, Joseph was favored. His good dreams landed him in all kinds of places [Genesis 39:2-3 & 21-23; Genesis 41:37-41].

As I conclude: All desires should climax in giving us dreams that are bigger than our daily needs and larger than our environment!

Positive Desire – Part4

#Desire Dream and Destiny Book|| chpt-2

In the previous weeks, we have been talking about the power of desire and what positive desire can do, from my book #Desire, Dream and Destiny. I told you that if your desire is going to be effective, you must have the ability to choose well. I also stated to you that, only destiny can show whether you ever had a desire that became such a great dream. I highlighted some of the resolutions I made like, letting go of all my friends who could not see what I was seeing regardless of who they were. I cancelled out all plans and I went back to principles. Lastly, I convinced myself that this was my desire and dream for my destiny.

People of God, time spent developing or generating power for your desire should not be counted as wasted time. That is why Jacob stayed long so that when his payday came, he would be paid bigger. Had he been able to get a hold of Rachel as soon as he had walked into Laban’s household, he would have walked out a poor man. Anybody who looks on the outside and judges by externals would have simply concluded that Jacob was wasting his time. They would have said; “if God was really with you, you would have gone in and come out quickly and you would have been powerful”. It does not work that way; God wanted to bless Jacob by holding him for a longer season; twenty years. Get this: great stewardship and faithfulness is the way that leads to a place of massive acquisitions.

The bible says in Genesis 31:38; These twenty years I [have been] with you; your ewes and your female goats have not miscarried their young, and I have not eaten the rams of your flock, and verse 41 also reads, Thus I have been in your house twenty years; I served you fourteen years for your two daughters, and six years for your flock, and you have changed my wages ten times. People of God, every desire has a location and once you locate it, do not leave until the appointed time has come for you to have it. Jacob’s desire was greater than just having Rachel because he wanted to be blessed. His lengthy stay was perceived by his enemy as a containment, but Jacob was using it to accumulate his wealth. Brethren, when things slow down on you, do not become negative, continue being positive and keep doing that which gave you the first desire of your heart. Genesis 30:31[c] reads; I will again feed and keep your flocks. We all know how the story ended that Jacob who had come running with nothing ended up accumulating more wealth than those he was working for. Is your desire strong enough to get you what you want? You see, desire is the driving force to the place of dreams. That is why it took twenty years for Jacob’s dream to come to pass. His desire caused him to dream big. Child of God, what do your desires lead you to? Positive desires will always lead us to the place where we work our dreams out [Genesis 30: 25-30] and the bible says; Laban asked Jacob, What shall I give you? [Genesis 30:31b].

People of God, as I conclude: No one has enough to pay for your dreams and no one has enough resources to facilitate your desires.

Positive Desire – Part3

#Desire Dream and Destiny Book|| chpt-2

We are still looking at positive desire. I said, the longer it takes, the better the results it will produce. I also stated that some of you are about to discover why you needed that extra time to get it right. Listen to this: building a vision is expecting the fulfillment of a desire. It is like constructing a structure, it takes time, but to look upon a finished building takes only a moment.

The vision comes quickly, but to put it up physically, it consumes a lot of time and resources. It requires a great team. Therefore, it is very important that you are not on anybody’s timetable, but on God’s. It is you who is longing for it; it is you who desires to see it happen, so pick your team wisely. Choose your seasons right as a master-builder for the two steps; Desiring and Dreaming, and both are obtained privately. Only destiny can show whether you ever had a desire that became such a great dream. Until we see what you are capable of producing, we are not impressed by your dreams. It happened to us here at the Miracle Centre Cathedral. A personal desire became a community dream and I began to see, and experience a shift in people’s commitment over a period of time. One day, I lost the entire building committee. The chairperson was the first to leave. Amazingly, the main reason for their leaving was based on an assumption they had, that the dream was too big to be realized. That it was going to cost a lot of money which according to them, we could not raise and that it would take a lot of time. All their concerns were genuine, but one thing they had not considered was that I had passed the desire level and the dream level. At that time, I was already more than convinced that it could be done. When the great team I had selected decided to leave, I was given the great opportunity to be the leader of the dream-team.

Brethren, never make the mistake of appointing someone else to lead that which he does not have such a desire for to the point that they begin to dream it until it becomes their way of life. During that time, two of my dear friends paid a visit; the first one visited me before the building plans were drawn, and as soon as he returned, he improvised what he thought we needed. When I went to meet with his team who had promised to finance us, upon looking at our plans they all concluded that I was fancy and that they themselves could not afford such a building even in America. My other friend came at the time when we had started construction and were at the balcony level of the building. He gasped for air three times and then he said to me in front of my wife and staff; “this is big, too big for you at your level, it will kill you, leave it alone. I will go and send you a plan, an easy one which will not take you a long time”. As though that was not enough, he turned to my wife and said to her; “it seems that your husband is stubborn, do you want to lose him? This building will kill him, mine nearly killed me”. After all this, I made certain resolutions. First of all, I let go of all friends who could not see what I was seeing, regardless of who they were. Secondly, I cancelled out all plans and went back to principles. Thirdly, I was convinced that this was my desire and it was my dream for my destiny, and if anything was to happen, it was going to be ME believing the dream.

As I conclude this text: I found a great friend in my wife, my new team and in the power of the Holy Spirit who anointed me to release miracles in people’s lives to an extent of raising a Korean woman out of a comatose state for six months, and as a result, the miracle of the glasses was released to us.

Positive Desire – Part2

Desire Dream and Destiny Book|| chpt-2

In our previous text, we said that once you locate your desire, do not compromise, but just pay the price to get it.  We took a case study on Jacob who found two women, where one of them could achieve things very easily and the other one had great difficulty in achieving. However, in the end, both women were capable of achieving greatness. We also said, though Leah was hated, she kept her delight in the Lord and as a result, she generated enough power to bring forth a child in a very hateful situation. When we look at Jacob hating Leah, one can only imagine that it was he [Jacob] who hated himself. This is because of the choices he made which put him to hard labor for his desire for fourteen years.

Brethren, anything that seemed to be the reason for Jacob’s predicament received his wrath. I want you to see the power of desire because once you begin to locate what you desire, or what you want, you are going to work for it. You should also know this for sure, that you do not have to pay double for that which has already been paid for. There was no reason why Jacob and Rachel hated Leah; she did not throw herself into it. You see, when we choose not to forgive, we have chosen to walk in hatred and that is a negative desire. It is probably the reason why Rachel’s miracle of child birth was delayed. That is why when Jacob finally got her, she did not live up to his expectations because she was barren. Such are the challenges that will come because of a negative desire.

Sometimes, even after you have gotten a hold of your desire, you may not immediately get the results you have been waiting for, but just keep on watching and holding on. The reason is that the longer you stay there, the more it will work for your good so that the scripture may be fulfilled which says; And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to [His] purpose [Romans 8:28]. The longer it takes, the better the results it will produce. All things should work for good because we desire good. However, if it takes longer than it was expected, do not become negative or else you will end up prolonging the process.

The bible tells us to count it all joy when we fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of our faith produces patience. But let patience have [its] perfect work, that we may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing [James 1:2-4]. Beloved, you are about to discover that you needed that extra time to get it right!

Positive Desire – Part1

#Desire Dream and Destiny Book|| chpt-2

We have been studying the power to desire from my book #Desire Dream and Destiny. We discovered that in order for our desires to be fulfilled, we must delight ourselves in the Lord who is the giver of those desires. Today, I want us to focus on the Positive Desire.

In the previous text we saw Jacob, a man who had positive desire to marry Rachel that he ended up working for 14years to get the desire of his heart [Genesis 29:20-30]. Jacob wanted to be prosperous, so he looked and judged between Leah and Rachel. He decided that if he were to marry Rachel, they would be successful in life; they would build up a powerful team.

Positive desire sees the end from the beginning and it must not choose from the entire village, but from the same home. What I mean is that it has to be from a source which is good, great or the greatest and not from sources that are bad or mediocre. If your desire is going to be very effective, you must have the ability to choose very well because no one is going to do it for you. YOU HAVE TO MAKE THE CHOICE YOURSELF; YOU HAVE TO DESIRE IT, NAME IT AND CLAIM IT. In addition, through your hard work, sweat, prayer and dedication you will get your desire fulfilled.  Once you locate your desire, do not compromise, just pay the price to get it. Leave the company of talkers and become a doer. I believe there were so many eligible young men around Laban’s household, but they failed to pay the price to get either of the girls.

James 1:25 reads, But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. Jacob knew that he was now in Laban’s household and had been sent there by Mom and Dad. He found two women; one of them could achieve things very easily, but the other one had great difficulty in achieving things though both depended on God. For both women, at the end were capable of achieving greatness. Therefore, to choose from such a scenario you must see between the lines, and if you’re in the same homestead, you have to choose one instead of the other. The bible says; And when the LORD saw that Leah [was] hated, he opened her womb: but Rachel [was] barren [Genesis 29:31]. Though Leah was hated, she kept her delight in the LORD and as a result, she generated enough power to bring forth in a very hateful situation. Jacob, her husband, together with her sister Rachel hated her, but the Lord opened her womb.

As I conclude this text: it does not matter which circumstances you are faced with right now, delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart [Psalm 37:4].

Desire – Part3

#Desire Dream and Destiny Book|| chpt-1, Psalms 37:4

We have been talking about the power of desire and we discovered that delighting in the Lord is one of the ways to get our desires fulfilled. The scripture says; delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart [Psalms 37:4]. Brethren, why delight in the Lord? Because it is He who gives us the desires of our hearts and the power to create them. I do not know whom I am talking to, but we must generate the power in order for our desires to be fulfilled. We should not delight in the desires, but in the one who grants and fulfills them. Therefore, the first step in having your desires fulfilled is delighting yourself in the giver of your desires.

The bible says; …what things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them [Mark 11:24]. This power for your desire is generated by faith. That is why we delight in the Lord because we believe that all things are possible to him that believeth [Mark 9:23]. Listen to this: delighting in the Lord will draw the desire to you, and let us take a look at Genesis 29, where Jacob desired to marry Rachel and the bible does not tell us that Rachel loved him. It rather states that; Jacob loved her, he desired her, he wanted to have her for a wife, but something happened and things began to go wrong. Circumstances put a hedge between Jacob and his desire, and he ended up working for seven years to have her. On the wedding night, he was duped into marrying Leah instead of the desire of his heart [Genesis 29:20-30].

Brethren, when we delight in the Lord, we set our minds on that which we desire, and after locating it, we do whatever it takes to get it. Jacob had to work seven more years for Rachel his desire, under his uncle Laban, a man who constantly deceived him. Why would anybody trust a person who has already tricked them into marrying a wrong person? You see, positive desire cannot be defeated. It will never rest until it obtains its goal and it cannot be denied. In all of Jacob’s life, he desired the best. That is why he desired the birthright of Esau his brother. Though he grew up in a tent, he knew life could be better. Jacob’s desire for Rachel made him to work harder than he had ever worked before in order to marry her.The bible says in Proverbs 16:26 [GNT] that; A laborer’s appetite makes him work harder, because he wants to satisfy his hunger.

As I conclude this text: we have to remember that Jacob was originally a chef, not a shepherd. He was a cook, but he had to change trades in order to have his desire met. Those who have desires are hardworking; they put work before pleasure, because they delight in the giver of their desires. Though Laban lied to him, Jacob delighted in this one thing; that “if I have been given that which I did not work for, I will surely get that which I desire or I am entitled to”. Positive desire is what produces faith, which is the delighting in the Lord who makes us have that which we desire. Friends, I trust you have been blessed with chapter one of my book, #Desire Dream and Destiny.
